Here is what I see as the best "cherry picking" items at the other grocery stores in town. I don't include all the match-ups, but only items you might want to pick up, if one of these stores is convenient to your location.
If you see items I missed, or if you know of great deals at stores I haven't listed, please leave the information in the comments section.

I grabbed an ALPS ad from the NC store. I assume it should also cover the store on Grand.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Dean Hot or Regular Sausage 16 oz. $.99
B2 and use $1.00 MQ (expires 3/28/10) @$.49
Bar S Sliced Bacon 12 oz. $1.78
Bar Smoked or Polish Sausage 16 oz. $1.66
Mrs. Smith's Cobblers $2.98 - .75MQ = $2.24
Hi kas - I've never been in Alps although I don't live far from the store on Grand. My teen was in there once - he was at Tower Grove park with a friend and ran over for soda. He told me it was a little spooky with people just hanging out. But, with that pirce on Jimmy Dean I might have to send my husband.
ReplyDeleteJeri, I remember going up to Tower Grove as a youngster to play around the water foundation. Grandparents rented on Russell, which I consider a war zone now.
ReplyDeleteLast night, I stopped at the Florissant store and there wasn't one roll available. A new $1.00/2 MQ came out in the Red Plum insert.
Hi Kas - The wadding pool/fountain is still at Tower Grove. It was rehabbed a few years ago. It is still a big hit in the summer.
ReplyDeleteRussel west of Grand is still a little tough, although there was some rehabbing going on before the economy tanked. I know of one appartement building that was turned into four really nice condos.
