If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

  1. I'm an Aldi convert. Their $1.99 salsa is awesome. Their hummus is really good. I've gotten goat cheese and blue cheese there. Turkey hot dogs for .89. Their guava/mango juice is .99 is really really good. Plus I just got strawberries for $1.39! Its my new favorite store and surpassed my old favorite (Walgreens once I learned how to get free stuff).

  2. Hi Marcella - I never went to Aldi before I used coupons. I'm usually very happy with what I buy there too.

  3. I have tried the guava/mango juice too. It is a nice treat for the kids because we tend to stay away from juice. Nancy H.
