Whole Foods Deals 6/16/10 - 6/22/10

I visited Whole Foods for the first time last weekend. My husband and I were there at 8:30 Saturday night and the place was hopping. We weren't the only ones who were at Whole Foods for "date night."

Every department was still open and manned. Lots of shoppers were buying items from the butcher, fish counter, bakery, deli, and salad bar. Any other grocery in town would have had those departments long closed up and employees sent home.

Jennifer at Healthy Life Deals posts Whole Foods Deals each week. Here are a few items that caught my eye.

  1. Their salad bar is INSANELY good, that's why its open late! They are also open on Thanksgiving etc. I brought a sushi platter to Thanksgiving dinner a couple years ago. They are busy on holidays too.

  2. Jeri, the Brentwood Whole Foods has a tearpad coupon for $1 off produce when you buy Earth Grains thin buns or bread. I've also seen this coupon at Dierbergs in Brentwood. Both stores have the coupons near the Earth Grains products.

  3. Hi Marcella - I agree Whole Foods prepared foods look wonderful. I can understand why people pick them up even at the price they are - cheaper than eating out.

  6. Thanks, Jennifer! Is the deal at the breakfast bar just for this week, or do they do that every weekend?
