  1. Badly need trash bags. The medium size, am guessing. The regular size won't fit in our trash bin. Does anyone know where I can get them for a really good price??? Much much thanks in advance.

  3. Hi coupon.girl - I think finding good deals on trash bags is hard. I buy Ruffies Tall Kitchen bags (13 gallon) at Target. They are about the best price I've found even with out a coupon. They aren't the strongest garbage bag around, but they aren't the thinest either.

I used to like to get them when I knew I would get overage, but that might be over at Target - if the $2 SmartBlend coupon is any indication.

  5. Wow! Thanks in advance, Spice!

Ms. Jeri, even if you still don't have them. I wish I'll win, I hope I'll win. :)

Thanks for the trash bag info. I'm with you about Target overage. A relative's birthday was celebrated yesterday and we forgot to buy him a card so I walked to Hampton to buy one. Arrived there sweating.Whew! Looked for Merona items to use coupons but didn't find any that I like. Instead, I found a very cute Xhalaration tankini marked down from $21.98 to $5.48. Me and my hubby's usual date is hanging out down at Onondaga Park River. It's really cool out there plus it's free. :)

Moreover, when I checked out with the card and tankini, I grabbed (2) Stride gums to use B1G1 Man.Q and Target Q. Good thing that I let the cashier ring up the gums first with the coupons because when she entered the Man. Q, $0 appeared on the screen for the Q. Told her, looks like value of Q did not go through. She was like, Oh! and she manually entered the Q value of one gum. When she scanned the Target Q, the manually entered Man. Q disappeared from the screen. The Target Q replaced it. I was like, why did it do that? She asked her asst. mgr.'s help who said that both coupons cannot be used because I will be getting both for free and I can only use either one but not both. Told her, but one is Man. Q and the other is Target Q. I thought I can combine them. She was like, no, you can't get two for free. I was running late so I just told them to just take off the gums and proceed with the tankini and the card.

It was really weird. And the asst. mgr., was she right on this? Looks like Target changed its coupon policy on B1G1 Qs on the way their machine are programmed now. Has anyone experienced the same? :I

  6. Hi coupon.girl - It looks like Target has changes their programming on their registers. I haven't shopped at Target enough to figure what happens with the new system.

I've been told lots of crazy things at the Hampton Target, so I don't tend to believe everthing a managers say. Target's coupon policy states they accept one manufacturer an done Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited). You could contact Target Corp inquire with a note on what the store told you.
