Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.
DEAL$, Dollar Tree and Sam's Club sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And, they usually have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ , Dollar Tree or Sam's Club closest to you.
Jeri - The Friskies treat coupons is for $1, not $2. I hope they go on sale soon for $1, free treats!
ReplyDeleteThe Friskies, Tide, Schick and Small Steps coupons are also in the free Sunday Journal.
The John Frieda coupons were in my SmartSource that I get from UrbanJournals (free) but not in my regular newspaper...that's totally weird, usually the good coupons don't come in the free paper.
ReplyDeleteThanks for catching my typo, CJ!
ReplyDeleteHi couponmama - I was so excited for the Target coupons, I forgot to check on the John Frieda in the Post-Dispatch. I've seen it happen before that the free Journal will have coupon the PD doesn't. It might of been John Frieda before.
I wish the Journal delivered the free papers in my neighborhood. No one picked them up when we got the free paper years ago. I would be more than happy to clean up the neighborhood.
Ms. Jeri, I had the same thought. My next door neighbor has 3 weeks of journals on his curb, and there are about 6 houses for sale in my subdivision with no one living there. Time to do some neighborhood beautification!!
ReplyDeleteIts my civic duty to keep my street clear of papers no one wants, the coupons are a reward for my services :)
ReplyDeleteI asked my neighbors if I picked up their papers if I could get their coupons. They were thrilled because most of the time they sit there for weeks. I don't get how someone can walk by a paper so many times and just not pick it up. Urgh.........
ReplyDeleteIt looks like I need to find a nice suburban neighborhood to "beautify."
