Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my investment.

Sam's Club is still selling the Sunday Post-Dispatch at a reduced price, $1.50. Dollar Tree and DEAL$ no longer sell the paper.

  1. Also of note, if you got the CVS ad, be sure to look on the back of the wrap-around. There is a $5 off $20 Q to celebrate their two new stores!

  4. Where do you get the Sunday paper this early? Since it went up to $2 my stores don't get it in until later in the day. They told mr last week it might be 5pm before they get it!

  5. Thanks, Staci! I just pulled the coupons and hadn't looked at the CVS ad yet. I hope everyone is coming up with their scenarios!

Hi kas - Did you notice the limit 5 coupon. And "Kmart reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time." I've gotten some fantastic deals at Kmart in the past. There Super Double events used to be fanatastic, but everytime they have one there are more and more restirctions. Maybe I'm just spoiled with the way it used to be.

Tonya- I pick up my Sunday paper at Walgreens about 8am Saturday morning.

From the way I understant it, the Post-Dispatch does not put a Saturday paper on the newstands any more (they still deliver a Sat. paper to homes.) But the early edition of the Sunday paper (w/ all the ads and coupon inserts) is on newstands on Saturday morning.

  6. Thanks, I found the paper at SnS this am. Walgreens is where I was told not until 5pm. One day I am going to call the Post and tell them how much I am crabby about the whole thing! I think it is probably the delivery people

  7. Jeri - I already used the cvs Q! I bought a glucose meter and halloween candy. I used the bayer MM to get free candy to hand out tomorrow night! Gotta love cvs! Didn't cost me one cent.

btw - where is a good place to donate the glucose meters?

  8. I was going to ask the same thing about the meters. Also the coupon says one per customer. Any ideas if it is one total or one per day. Or one per ? My thought is, if it is one per card, and I have stuff that doesn't have ECB, I could use another one on another day

  9. Hi Staci - I give my Glucose meters to my dad.He takes them to the senior center he is associated with in his community in Iowa. I've heard of other people donating them to nursing homes.

I know there was a discussion about where to donate them the last time the ended up free/money-maker. I'll see if I can find it and post some of the suggestions.

  10. Hi Tonya - I'm not sure how CVS will handle the $5 off $20 coupon in the Post-Dispatch.

I've found the CVS employees very good to deal with and coupon friendly. I would ask them to clarify what the intentions of the coupon were.

  11. Do you have to be a member at Sams to buy just the newspaper there?
