  1. I only saw a printable Campbell's coupon that excluded tomato soup. Am I missing the other one or was this just a simple mistake? Thanks! Dana

  2. Dana - There's one for $1.50/3 "Great For Cooking" soups. Tomato isnt excluded and it doesnt have the "Great For Cooking" banner on the label, but the coupon might work. I'm going to try it tomorrow.

  3. FYI: I used a $1.50/3 "Great for Cooking" soup coupon to get tomato soup free at Schnucks last week (where they were 0.50/can), so the coupon might work at Wags.

  4. Hi Dana - I've used "Great for Cooking Soups" often when purchasing Tomato Soup. I really do use Tomato soup in recipes.

  5. My morning Wags run - Zarabees, 3 tomato soups (printable worked fine), Vicks cough drops, almonds, cranberry juice and Starbucks Frappaccino. Used $13 in coupons and RRs, paid $2.36 OOP and got $6 RR back. Will make another run later for more Zarabees and soup.

  6. Thanks, CJ! I feel back to normal. I missed your Waglreens recap last week, but I'm sure it was good to get away.

  7. Did anyone do the Oral-B toothbrush deal already? I will be going to my notcoupon-friendly store and I don't want to have any beeps as much as possible. TIA, a lot. :)

  8. On the oral b toothbrush - how can you use the b1g1 coupon and the .75 off coupon? Won't they say that since you are using the b1g1 you can't also use the .75? thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Jenny - You should be able to use both coupons, you get one free and get .75 off the one you are paying for. But I have had some stores say a B1G1 coupon applies to both items. Even if they wont take both coupons, you still get 2 for free after the coupons and RR.

  10. Heads up! The Sinex Nyquil is also part of the 2/10 RR deal. If you have the $4 Sinex coupon (same insert as the Nyquil $1.50) it makes for some cheap product. I did the Zarabees and 2 Sinex products. Used $3 Zarabees and 2-$4 Sinex. Spent $5.XX and got $11 in RR.

  11. Hi coupon.girl - I didn't do the Oral-B toothbrush deal, but Wild for Wags is reporting the CrossAction coupon in the Nov. coupon book wasn't programed into the compputer at her store.

  12. Hi Jenny - It is acceptable coupon practice to use a B1G1 coupon and an other coupon when you buy 2 porducts.

    Walgreens offical coupon policy says,

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
"When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased."

Walgreens has their coupon policy on their website. You can find a link to it in the Walgreens tab in the header of my blog.

  13. Hi Jillyq - Great shopping! Thanks for the Sinex info. I had a list of thing to look for when I was at Walgreens today and forgot to put Sines on my list. Thanks a bunch!

  14. If you can't get the printable Cream of Wheat coupon to print, there is a $1.00/1 coupon in the 9/19/10 SS that doesn't expire until 12/31/10. Just an FYI..

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi Anonymous - We only got a .75 Cream of Wheat coupon in the 9/19/10 SS that was in the St Louis Post-Dispatch. Was there a $1 coupon in the Free Journal, or are you in another part of the country?

  16. Aunt Jemima pancake/waffle mix pouches are $1 regular price. Large boxes of pancake mix always expire before I can use them up, so these small pouches are just the right size for me. Walgreens also sometimes has Bisquik Shake & Pour pancake mix for $1 but I havent seen it recently.
I also found plastic Disney dome tumbler cups at Wags today for $3.99. They had Toy Story, Pooh and Cars. I got Toy Story for my 3 year old nephew, he just saw TS3.

  17. I wish I could take a picture of this to show everyone, but I don't want to draw attention to myself. My Walgreens has placed a huge green sign by the register stating that Register Rewards are a limit of one so that everyone can enjoy the savings. Not exactly Walgreens policy--how do you enforce this without a customer saving card? Have a list of names/descriptions of people with each RR item purchased by that person? I don't think the sign was targeted at me, because I rarely by multiples in one week--although, I do have quite a few Nyquil Sinexes! Kelly

  18. Hi Kelly - As stated in Walgrens coupon policy - "Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items pruchased."

I can sometimes understand why some stores do impose limits. I've heard if you go to a flea market, many stands are full of Walgreens products offered free after RR. I wouldn't think it was the intensions of Walgreens to supply Flea Market sellers.

But, since there is a Walgreens on about every other corner. You can just stop at the next store if you want more.

  19. Hi Jeri - yes, I am an avid reader from the Atlanta area.

  20. Too bad Walgreens doesnt place huge signs about all their other coupon/deal policies, instead of just making up verbal excuses why they cant take our coupons! I cant imagine the employees at my store(s) ever remembering what I've already purchased this week.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hi Atlanta - You probably get better coupons on a regular basis in your paper than we do here in St Louis. Our Sunday paper just went up to $2 and we no longer can purchase them at the dollar stores for less. How much do you pay for the Atlanta Sunday paper?

Hi CJ - Walgreens should make the online coupon policy mandatory reading for all employees.

I would imagine a store that has sings up about one RR deal per person has had a shopper wiping out there stock the first thing Sunday morning. But if that is the case, they could fix the "problem" with loyalty cards like CVS.

  22. I know this is late in the week, but I didn't get to Walgreens until today.

I found an unadvertised sale on Scotch brand Precision Scissors, regularly $7.99 on sale for $2.99. There were also $1 tearpad coupons, so $2 for a really nice pair of scissors. I found them near the Christmas gift wrapping. The scissors has a gray and red handle. A good item to spend some of the extra RR on.

With all the coupon clipping everyone does, I thought it was a deal worth sharing.
