10-Day Food Drive

If your donation box is overflowing like mine, it's time to make a donation.

Five Mid-County communities are holding a Ten Day Food Drive - December 10th - 20th
  • City of Glendale - City Hall, 424 N. Sappington Rd., 314-965-3600
  • City of Oakland – Webster Groves Christian Church, 1320 W Lockwood
  • City of Rock Hill – City Hall, 9511 Manchester Rd., 314-968-1410, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • City of Shrewsbury – City Hall, 5200 Shrewsbury Ave., 314-647-579
  • City of Webster Groves – Fire Dept., 4 E Lockwood at Elm Ave., 314-963-5000
They are collecting non-perishable food and personal hygiene items. 

Beneficiaries include: Circle of Concern, Mary Queen of Peace - St Vincent de Paul Society, Webster-Rock Hill Ministries, Nurses for Newborns and Emmanuel Episcopal Church Food Pantry.

  2. Hi CJ - Obviously I need to get some thing together too. I had several bags for my son to take to school for their food drive, but he left them in the kitchen and the food drive was over Friday.

  5. The McDonalds in Fairview Heights, IL, is collecting canned goods for a local food bank. Get a free cheeseburger (up to 5 per person) for each canned good donated. There wasn't an end date listed, but we were just there last night (the McD's at just south of St Clair Mall).
