Post Dispatch Coupon Preview - 12/12/10

There should be TWO coupon inserts in this Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch  - SmartSource and  Red Plum. Plus a coupon in Parade Magazine.

$10 off $50 at Shop 'n Save this week.

I stopped at two stores in different City zips codes this morning looking  for both a SmartSource and Red Plum insert in the paper.  I looked through a ton of papers and didn't find a Red Plum in any of them.  A clerk at one of the stores told me he had received a Red Plum insert in his delivered paper - but he lives in the County.

If you buy papers today and find a Red Plum insert in them, please leave a comment.
SmartSource
  • B1G1 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • $15 off Philips Sonicare FlexCare + or FlexCare Rechargeable Toothbrush
  • $4 off any Gas-X Prevention Product
  • $4 off any Brita Pitcher
  • $2 off Bic 3 blade or 4 blade Disposable Shaver
  • $2 off Biotrue multi-purpose solutions
  • $1 off Triaminic Product
  • .75 off any French's French Fried Onions
  • .50/1 Pillsbury Sweet Rolls
Parade Magazine
  • $1 off any Nancy's Frozen Appetizers
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my investment.

Sam's Club is still selling the Sunday Post-Dispatch at a reduced price, $1.50. Dollar Tree and DEAL$ no longer sell the paper.

  1. If anyone in St Louis still has the 11/14 SS, can you check the expiration date on the Activon rebate? I swear mine expired 11/30 so I threw it away last week, but other blogs are reporting it expires 1/31 and can be used with the Wags RR deal this coming week. I'm gonna be really mad at myself if I read it wrong :(

  2. The 20 ct box of Gas-X Prevention is regular price $4.99 at Kmart, with the $4 coupon only .99. CVS.com's online price is $6.29.

  3. Hi CJ - AvtivOn rebate says "cash register receipt dated between 11/14/10 and 11/30/10. Requests must be postmarked by 1/31/11"

    Thanks for the Gas-X ifo!

  4. Jeri - Thanks for the Activon rebate info. I hate it when I make an error that costs me money. I just found a $6 Wags coupon for Colace that I should have stacked when I bought it last week. Oh well, cant win 'em all!

  7. Hi Tonya & South County Shopper -Thanks for the updates. I sure hope I don't have to start driving to the County or IL to buy my papers to get the RP insert. I'll be interested to see if I get one in the paper that is delivered tomorrow.

  8. I had both the SS and RP, plus the $1 Cinnabon coupon on the papers I bought in Florissant. I also had a RP and SS in my delivered paper.

  9. My delivered paper in Creve Coeur had an ad for Fannie May chocolates with $10 off in store, no minimum purchase. They had these last year and I got several boxes of assorted chocolates for very close to $10, making them almost free. I was really excited to see this again.
I also got both the SS and RP.

  11. Hi JB - Thanks! I searched my paper and didn't find any Fannie May coupon. Was it a single page flyer?

If I remember correctly they weren't in every paper last year either and I went searching for them. I'm not sure I'll do that today with the weather.

But good news, I had a RP in my delivered paper.

  12. Yes, it was a single page, white with a big picture of chocolate on it. I think you have to live a certain distance from one of their stores to get it. I know everyone won't get it, but I didn't want anyone to accidentally throw it out.
