UPDATE - Hallmark Tissue & Wrap Deal at Walgreens No Longer Working

I posted yesterday about Hallmark Wrap and Tissue paper being a money-maker at Walgreens.

I've heard from several readers this morning the Register Reward is no longer printing

It was a great deal while it lasted.  I thought about having my  husband stop last night  at Walgreens when we were on the way home from his office Holiday party. Now, I know I should have.

Thanks, Tonya and KC!

  1. Yeah, i just did the tissue paper and it didn't work. Watch out on the jingle cash too, it is triggering after all coupons, not just walgreens coupons.

  3. So glad I went yesterday and stocked up! I bought 10 rolls of wrapping paper, I don't even know how many packs of tissue paper and a b-day card for my BIL. I needed wrapping paper and used the MMs to buy an Entertainment Book since I was out of SNS Qs.

I didn't receive jingle cash on one of my transactions yesterday evening and thought maybe it was because I bought eggs. Now, who knows.

On a side note... When I went back to another store last night to get my 2nd set of 6 Snickers Nutcrackers, I did a couple more Hallmark transactions before buying my Entertainment Book. While checking out with the Entertainment Book, the cashier mentioned that she loves the Ebook for the dry cleaner and car wash coupons and buys one every year just for those. I mentioned SNS and she said that she never shops there. I tried to tell her about the great deals and why she should consider it. All of a sudden she said, "I'll give you my SNS Qs if I can have your car wash and dry cleaner Qs." She finished checking me out, got her keys, we went out to her car and exchanged Qs. We don't do the dry cleaner or car wash, so I basically just got 6 SNS Qs for free!!!! Made my crazy running around at Wags last night totally worth it. AND it produced a $5 jingle cash Q. =)

  4. Hi Staci - I wish I would have stopped last night for more. I need to find one of those cashiers to trade my car wash & dry cleaning coupons with. I might even through in the Free Frappe at McDonalds coupon.

  5. I'd trade every coupon in the book, except for the SNS and free Frappe coupons, for more SNS coupons!

  6. What was sad is that she still had last year's book in her trunk and all 6 SNS Qs were still in it. =(

Once I also found an Entertainment Book at the thrift store for $2.81 and the SNS Qs were still in it. You know I grabbed that as quickly as I could! =)

  7. Staci - Wow, an E.B. at a thrift store, what a great buy!! I'm surprised that anyone would pass up coupons for SNS, even if they didnt regularly shop there. But years ago (before I became an avid couponer) I gave away gift cards for Schnucks because I refused to shop there, so I guess I shouldnt be surprised!

  8. I wish I had checked here before I went to Wags on Saturday. It was still a good deal on wrapping & tissue paper, but I am continually disappointed. It seems like I always have to fight for discounts or they are out of stock on ad items.

  9. Hi Jen - Walgreens has been challenging for even the most seasoned couponer recently. Some days I feel like throwing my hands in the air and saying, "I quit."

BUT, I have saved a ton of money at Walgreens. I quess the sometimes hassles are the cost of shopping there.
