Prices December 5 - 11 , 2010
There are more and more ECB deals in CVSs' ads that don't include prices. I've listed the online prices with my match-ups. Hopefully they are the same or at least close to the store prices.
Thanks to Cindy at Living Rich with Coupons for this weeks' match-ups.

EOS lip balm is free after $2.99 ECB thru 12/25.
ReplyDeleteNot a great CVS week but I'll go and try to use up $35 in ECBs somehow. (and get a free Krispy Kreme on the way home!)
I got my EOS when I went in yesterday. Had to ask someone where it was because I couldn't find it for the life of me. Ended up being on the side of an endcap (if that makes any sense). They didn't have any with the chapstick/lip balm.
ReplyDeleteI agree with CJ. Not a great week. Looks like a good week to take a CVS break. Hope there are some great SNS deals that I can work on instead!
Hi Staci,
ReplyDeleteI am thinking SNS is gonna be rocking this week. Now for the life of me I cannot remember if the last Conagra deal stacked or not. I've been planning since yesterday and it just keeps looking better.
Oh and I wish there was a Krispy Kreme close by. Mom & I pass one down on Lindburgh when I take her to the heart Dr. I always say we are gonna stop, last Dr. visit we had to make a stop at the Honey Baked Ham Co. =) Yummmy
Hi All
ReplyDeleteI didn't get it put in the post, but Entertainment books are going to be on sale for $25.
I just read on Simply CVS that CVS had changed the dates for the EOS ECB offer and it's done tonight. Hmmm...If it's true, CVS has been having some problems getting this correct.
Janet - Are you trading for all those ConAgra coupons we didn't get the PD?
Jeri - Thanks for the E.B. info. If I have trouble spending my ECBs I'll just get one of those.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeri,
ReplyDeleteI have been trading like a crazy lady since yesterday. I have only been getting the -1/1 Swiss Miss and -1/2 Healthy Choice Soups to work the ConAgra deal to make it a MM/Free. I will have to wait til Monday to do some price cking then start finishing my lists with items that I am going to need this week like kitty litter. And I have this Thursday off =)
How do you ladies see the sns ads early? I can't find them online until Mondays. Tia!
ReplyDeleteJanet- aren't you in IL? There is a Krispy Kreme in Fairview
ReplyDeleteHi, Kelly! I think the ladies here are looking at the one page SnS ad in Sunday's paper early copy. :)
ReplyDeleteJanet, at what site do you do your trading? I registered the other day at couponworld and this is all I was able to do. There's a lot of stuff to read to totally understand/learn how it works. I still do not know how to do the "wishlist" page. I'm beginning to think I'm dumb and dumber. :I
Oh, unless the ladies here have really good friends at SnS and got a copy of next week's ad. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi All,
ReplyDeleteCoupon.girl, it will take a little bit to get into the Trader in Training part of HCW. It does take a little effort to get a wishlist going. I do not have an actual list at HCW, I just wing it. I use the coupon data base heavily looking for what types of different coupons are out. On HCW I am "ClippintoSave". And there is no dumb and dumber--we are all just learning something new.
Also to all-Usually on Sunday at the SNS site, if you go to one of the Springfield, IL area stores you should be able to see the ads, that area starts their sales on Sundays.
Thanks Anonymous for the Krispy Kreme info on the Fairview Heights store, but unfortunately it is also @45 minutes from me. =( Better off that way, if I had those free donut coupons I would be a daily visitor. =)
Coupoon.girl-If I was you, I would lock in your last statement as an answer for the million dollar prize.
I've been receiving both SnS and Dierbergs ads by mail for a few years now. Occasionally, I get 'em on Saturday, along with bulk mailer ones. About two years ago, my aprtment building began getting the Schnucks and SnS ads. Thankfullly, we don't get a fat bundle like out in the 'burbs; otherwise, the lobby and elevator floors would be covered with paper.
ReplyDeleteNow there will be weeks when Cliff the Mailman won't bring my mailed ad or even the bulk mail ones.
Unadvertised Free after ECB Deal at CVS this week:
ReplyDeleteCold Buster Syrup 4 oz is FREE after ECB. They are 8.99 and is good from 12/5 - 12/11
Also, Zhu Zhu Pets are on sale b1g1. There is a CVS coupon for b2g1 free here:
ReplyDeletehttp://open.cvs.com/zhuzhu/signup.cfm
So technically you could do this transaction (YMMV, of course):
9.88
9.88 (free from bogo sale)
9.88 (free from b2g1q)
9.88 (free from bogo sale)
9.88
9.88 (free from bogo sale)
Pretty good deal if you are looking for these.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Janet! I knew that the Schnucks ad was available in IL on Sunday, but didn't know about SNS. Now I can start planning on Sunday and have time to buy or trade for coupons in time for Thursday!
ReplyDeleteExcited about the ConAgra deal for sure! We are just about out of canned tomatoes and it is soup and chili season, so those are a must!
Yea, I finally got my free Oral B Vitality toothbrush!! Have been waiting since Sept and finally saw them on the shelf today. Also got Motrin PM and AZO wipes (the SoCo CVS has lots of wipes and cream in stock) free after ECB and coupons. Used a B1G1 free Pantene coup and the 2nd one will be free after rebate. Got $3 off with the 20% coupon so they must have only based that on my $15 of non-sale items. Used $21 ECBs and got $21 ECBs back :) The EOS lipbalm didnt have an ECB tag so I didnt try it.
ReplyDeleteI just got 2 of my Oral B Vitality also. It sure did take them long enough. But came at a perfect time since I also had a 5 off 15.
ReplyDeleteLynda - Was the limit 2 on the Vitality? I was so excited I just grabbed one but thought later the rain check might have let me get 2, and I had a 2nd $10 coupon with me.
ReplyDeleteThe last time they had them on sale the limit was for 2. I had a raincheck and they called last week and they were both in. They had so many people with rainchecks that they actually held them for people when they came in. That was at the Ellisville store.
ReplyDeleteThe limit both times was 2. Does anyone remember what week the last $10 coupon was in?
ReplyDeleteHi All
ReplyDeleteThere is a $10 Oral-B Vitality coupon in 11/14/10 RP (expires 12/31)
jillyq - Thanks for the additional deal info.. Were you able to find Cold Buster at your store? I looked for ever and asked an employee. They didn't think they had ever seen it at there store.
Did you buy the Zhu Zhu deal. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that deal. How many do you buy and how many coupons do you use?
I did the Zhu Zhu pet deal today. They are on sale this week BOGO. The coupon is for Buy 2 get one free. I bought four and got three of them free.
ReplyDelete9.88
9.88 (free with the Buy 1 Get 1 free)
9.88 (free with the Buy 2 Get 1 free coupon)
9.88 (free with the Buy 1 Get 1 free)
They didn't have any at the one on Lindbergh in South County but they had a bunch at the one on Gravois & Germania.
Hope that makes sense
Hi Pam - Thanks, I think I'm getting my head wrapped around that deal now.
ReplyDeleteSo, take (4) to the register, use (1) B2G1 coupon and you only pay for one? Wow!
A couple of phone calls to CVS
ReplyDeleteFirst, I spoke with them AGAIN about the Creve Coeur store doing tax incorrectly. She told me they had credited me a $2 ECB for my previous tax problem. I told her that was nice, but I wanted the problem fixed for EVERYONE FOREVER! Plus what they are doing is WRONG! She said the notation showed the previous two times I had called it had not been bumped up to the tax/legal department, as I was told would happen.
Then I mentioned the 30% off IN-STORE and online that was advertised. After much talking, she asked me to email a scan of the ad I had printed Saturday morning clearly showing it was for BOTH in-store and online. I did this, but the email bounced right back. I called again and was told they can't even receive incoming emails. (So why ask me to do that???) I have snail mailed a letter of concern and a copy showing the 30% being advertised as in-store. I am not real hopeful of getting a satisfactory resolution to this, but had to express my concern.
Creve Coeur CVS Tax Issue
ReplyDeleteI just received a very nice phone call from the store manager at the Creve Coeur store. She is definitely going to have the tax person check into correcting the problem concerning not calculating taxes after all coupons. She promised to contact me again when she has additional information. I am hoping this may take care of this issue soon!!!!
Hi KC - Thank you for all the time you've spent trying to get the CVS tax issue fixed. Keep us posted what happens.
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked on getting the other retailer to fix the sales tax so it was after coupons, I ended up having to contact the DOR. It took a lot of time to work through them also. Again, thank you!
When I scanned my CVS card tonight, I got a $2.50 CRT for Planters Flavor Grove. Those nuts are on sale for $2.50. Great deal ~~ free! I did have to scan my card twice to get that CRT. I have learned to keep scanning my card until it tells me I am finished. Sometimes the best CRTs are in the last batch.
ReplyDeleteHi KC - I shop at the new store in South City and got one of the Planters Grove coupon on Sunday. I couldn't find them in the store. Sometime I don't think the new store has all the products in.
