I wanted to mention I bought the InnovAsian last week, we tried it last night and I thought it was pretty good. I have only had Kahiki a couple times and it was a while ago, so I can't really compare the two. We were in a hurry, so I microwaved the Orange Chicken and I think it would have been better in the oven (which was the recommended method). I liked the rice. It is "sticky white rice" and I thought it was exactly what was advertised. I thought it tasted just like what you get at a Chinese restaurant. We also had rice leftover, there was plenty. I am planning to stock up on these this week.

ReplyDeleteWhen you buy 4 Sweet Moments and get $3 off on milk, do you get the full $3 even if your milk is less than $3? I usually buy skim milk which might be less than $3. I am wondering if my milk is less than $3, if I will get the full $3.
my guess is you will get the full $3 off. last time they had 'free milk' the whole $3.45 (or whatever) came off even though my milk was 30 cents cheaper.
ReplyDeleteI tried Innovasian last week, too. I tried the General Tso's and didn't like it as well as the Kahiki. I have the sweet and sour to try next. Still, it's close second--quality wise, as good as Kahiki, just the spice wasn't to my liking.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly - My second choice after Kahiki is Wanchai Ferry Dinner Kits. They aren't as cheap because you have to add your own chicken, but I like them too.
ReplyDeleteKahiki chicken bags were $4.99 last night at Dierbergs and I got a $2/2 any Kahiki items catalina for buying it. Since Dierbergs sale ends on Mondays, the price and catalina may not be effective this week but you may want to check.

I was happy to find almost all the coupons I had been needing in the mail today. I even had to buy some -$1/1 Swiss Miss coupons from a trader also for $.07 ea. I figured it was an excellent deal since these 66 coupons alone will get me two $10 Cats in return minus their cost. Yippee =) And I love Swiss Miss. =)

First time I skipped Shop n Save 10 off 50. Freezer is way to full will hardly close and no more room in the overflow pantry. Sometimes you just have to pass no matter how great the deals are. Actually it felt kind of good not tohave to fight them today. Glad everyone else had such a great day though.
