Eggs at the store I shop were as cheap as I've seen them in a very long time - $0.89 a dozen is a great price.
Every week, Aldi has 5 to 6 Produce Picks that are priced lower than you what you will ever see elsewhere. If you are close to an Aldi, it worth the time to stop in to pick some up.
Aldi now has their local ads online. Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday. If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.
The prices shown are from the Holly Hills store in St Louis. Prices and availability vary a bit between stores, but Produce Picks will be the same price throughout the St Louis Metro area.

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons
If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.
I agree about the eggs. They are .99 over here in Illinois, but still, a great price. I stocked up yesterday. I use so many baking. When I went in yesterday they had only about 20 left. I think everyone is getting the idea. Have a safe holiday.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I picked up eggs as well as $0.25 cantaloupe! The Aldi on south Grand had a big pallet of cantaloupe by the registers with a sign that said "$0.25, today only". No idea how long those lasted, but it was great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhonda - We did have a good holiday at our house. My college aged son in home and he helped his dad reroof the garage. Something long over due. I hid at the computer so I didn't have to see my son walking on the roof.
ReplyDeleteHi Courtney - Woo Hoo! What a deal.
I wish we had some cheap eggs here. They were still 1.19 at the s. lindbergh location. bummer:)
