Aldi Produce Picks - Week of 7/24/11


Every week, Aldi has 5 to 6 Produce Picks that are priced lower than you what you will ever see elsewhere.  If you are close to an Aldi, it worth the time to stop in to pick some up. 

Aldi now has their local ads online.   Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday.  If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.

Baby Carrots (16 oz) - $0.59
Strawberries (1 lb) - $0.99
Broccoli (14 oz) - $0.99
Cauliflower - $1.29 each
Cherries (1 lb) - $1.99
Red Grapes (1 lb) - $1.99

  2. I am excited to see baby carrots on sale. I steam them and puree them and freeze them in ice cube trays. I used to use them as baby food, but now that my kids don't eat purees, I add them to meals all the time. I will stick several cubes in spaghetti sauce, shredded BBQ chicken, etc. You can't taste it and I figure it is one more way for my family to get a few more vegetables.

  3. Hi Anonymous - The lowest milk prices in town got me shopping at Aldi, and then I noticed the produce picks. You can't go wrong with those prices.
