Same price for milk and eggs at the South Grand store.
ReplyDeleteI just got an email from Eckerts. Peaches are now $0.99/lb for the next couple of weeks. See here for details: http://www.eckerts.com/hotline.htm. This is a particularly great deal if you use the kids-pick-free coupon!
ReplyDeleteIs there an entrance fee to pick peaches at Eckerts or do you just pay for what you pick? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Courtney!
ReplyDeleteHi JB - I haven't been over to Eckert's for awhile, but the last time I was, there only additional fees were for the Kids fun area.
No entrance fee for general peach-picking. They do have some kids' play areas that charge, but I'm not sure if that's all the time or just on weekends. We've never done the kids' areas--my kids are pretty wiped out after picking all the peaches!
ReplyDeleteIn Belleville...the kid's area is free also though some things require a ticket (blow-up slide, animal rides) but my kids always have fun going to pet the animals and other free things in kid area.
ReplyDeleteWear washable shoes like crocs...there's always rotting and fallen fruit on the picking path. Eve
it looks like milk prices went up... still better than other grocery stores though.
