Dumb question I know, but do you know if I buy the 30 allowable GM products which total up to 50, will the $10 come off and then the instant savings or will the instant savings prevent the total from reaching $50? Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI had the same question as Beth. I wonder with all these 'instant' savings what that's going to mean for us. (Last time there was an instant Kraft savings that I paired with a Sappington $10 off, they made me purchase more to make up for the 'instant' savings to bring me back to $50)

ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago I emailed corporate about using RRs. I then followed the guidelines in her responding email to try and use RRs at SnS. I was denied. I emailed again and was basically told I cannot use them, since they have Walgreens on them. Has anyone else been using them? If so, which stores?
My store says no RR if have "redeem at Wags" on bottom. I haven't had a RR without that wording in awhile.

ReplyDeleteTeresa - I haven't heard either way if Ore Ida or Nature Valley are triggering Cats at SNS. I'm going to buy Ore Ida tomorrow, I guess we will know then.
Beth - No dumb questions here. We all have wondered about how Instant Savings affects the $10 off $50. Like Julie said, in the past the $10 is deducted when you hit $50 in purchases and the instant savings comes off the total when the cashier totals the trasaction.
Melissa - When you use a Sappington Farmers Market $10/$50 coupon it does change the situation, since the cashier has to manually inter that $10 savings. I've heard some stores/cashiers will dedcut the $10 SFM coupon even if Instant Savings takes your total under $50 and others won't. You are best to stop and talk to a store manager is you using a SFM coupon and instant savings in a transaction.
Julie - I'm hoping to stop at SNS this afternoon when I'm out and about. I'll check to see if they carry Garnier Herbashine haircolor.
Concerning using RR at SNS - If you want to use them, I would stop and talk to the manager before I shopped.

I can confirm the Ore Ida deal is working at SNS now, I have played the cat since 10/4 working with the Easy Fries. =)JB typed up the details regarding the cat at the Shop. =) I been buying 4 @$4.01-$3 Cat=$1.01 and get the $3 back. =)

ReplyDeleteI have never had to buy two products to get the $2.50 price on one item as in your scenario. If the sign says "$2.99 each or 2/$5", then you need 2 items to get the $2.50 price.

ReplyDeleteI think the Thins are included - only because the Dierbergs ad has the same cat deal and lists them as included. Haven't tried at SNS yet, though.
Hi Anonymous - At all the grocery stores if the sale is 2/$5.00, it will ring up $2.50 each.
ReplyDeleteThe only place I've found that it doens't work that way is Walgreens.
The store I usually shop at on South Lindbergh will take them if they don't say redeemable only at Walgreens. The only ones I have found lately that don't say that are the P&G ones. I have had the cashiers question the P&G ones and a manager always lets me use them.

The cat reads: "Buy Nature Valley Granola bars (6 count or larger) or Nature Valley Granola Nut clusters (excludes nature valley Granola Thins) between 10/3 and 10/30....Buy 3 and get $1, buy 4 and get $2, buy 5 or more and get $3...coupon off your next shopping order."
ReplyDeleteI did this today and got the $5 off a GM purchase of 10 items that included 5 Nature Valley granola bars and got the $3 cat.

ReplyDeleteHas anyone else had trouble with internet coupons at SNS? Their policy is missing from their website. My cashier told me it they didn't scan she couldn't take them, but when she took her time to scan them, they went through just fine.

ReplyDeleteSNS not accepting Internet Printables that don't scan has always been in their policy, although I have had cashiers manually inter a few of mine that didn't scan. I think it comes down to the store and how well they know you and respect that you are using coupons correctly.
