  1. yesterday I was in Kohls. They had a big clearance sale and an additional 40% off clearance prices. The cashier was not sure if the deal went beyond yesterday. She said the sale was as much a surprise to the employees as to shoppers. Might be worth checking out if anyone needs anything. I picked up a ton of stuff and put it up for my kids!

  2. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any current deals for foam handsoap? I haven't found any in quite a while since I stocked up last year at CVS for $1/ea. and I'm running very low.
    Thanks!

    1. Was that the Lysol brand you bought last year? If it was, there were deals every where because it was new. I doubt you will see that good of price again, but hopefully you will see something close.

    2. Make your own! Do you still have a foam soap dispenser at home? You can use any soap + water and make your own foaming handsoap.

I use castille soap b/c I have very dry skin, but you can use any soap. It stretches your soap out for a long time, too - so it saves lots of money!

Either one of these "recipes" is a great tutorial:

      Hope that helps!

  4. My Target (at Brentwood) had $1 peelies on the 24 pack cans of Pepsi Brand soda that were actually TARGET coupons. If you printed the $1 Pepsi coupons a couple of weeks back, you'd get 24 cans of Pepsi for 4.29!

  8. ellamenopea, I buy regular hand soap, fill the foaming soap bottle 1/4, fill the rest with water, and shake to mix. It's much cheaper than buying the foam soap.

    1. Just a tip- for me, dish soap has too much lye (that is, all soap is made of fat and lye, the more lye, the better it cuts grease, therefore the better it dissolves the fat layer on your skin) If you don't have sensitive skin this isn't a problem. I type at present with cracked hands, myself (forgot the dishwashing gloves! :) )

  10. The grocery store in Troy, IL (super valu) has some good deals this week. 2% milk for $2.88 (limit 2), Cottonelle 12-pack for $5.99 with a tearpad for $.75/1 (limit 1), and General Mills cereal 3/$4.98 combined with $1/3 q (making it $1.33/box - not the best, but I haven't seen too many good cereal deals lately.) The cereal was a limit of 3 boxes.

    1. Thanks, LeAnn! I hadn't heard of that store before.

Cereal like everthing else had gotten much more expensive.

  12. May be too late for anyone to catch this...but you can get Huggies Slip-on diapers for $2.99 a bag at Wags this week. They're on sale for $6.99, then minus the $2 February Savings Book Wags Q, and also use the $2 of Huggies Little Movers insert Q (think is was an SS insert from maybe two weeks ago?). One of the Wags near me was out of the slip-ons, but the other one had a size bigger than what my daughter wears. I was happy to use my old $10 RR for FREE diapers plus a few other goodies! Eve
