  1. Thanks! This will be my first time at Shop n' Save. I do have a question. Is the $2 ConAgra offer considered a coupon and will it get applied before or after the $10 off $50 coupon?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Instant Savings deals (ConAgra this week) will not affect the $50 purchase requirement.

Instant savings are deducted when the cashier totals the register and the $10/$50 comes off the register as soon as the running total is $50.

      Have Fun!

  3. Wanted to mention if anyone buys the banquet frozen meals, they recently had coupons inside the box. There was a coupon for those brown and serve sausage links 0.25/1 would make for an awesome deal!

  4. I missed this post before a BIG price check I just did. I took pics of prices and SNS cats instead of writing them down. People probably thought I was crazy, LOL! I'll email my list yu, Jeri when my DD naps. Eve

  5. Can the $5/$50 coupon from the Entertainment Book be used in conjuction with the $10/$50? If so, does the total have to be $60 for it to work?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, you can use your $5/$50 coupon when you spend right at $50. It is always the first coupon I had to the cashier.

I've had a few cashiers tell me I couldn't use it. When that happens I tell them I always have been able to use it in the past and would they ask Customer Service if they can accept it. CS has always told them I could use it.

  6. Anonymous,

You can use a EB $5/$50 with the $10/$50. I do it all the time. Buy $50 worth of groceries. Be sure to use the EB first (plus Sappington Market's $10/$50 if you are matching that) before all other coupons. Instantly your total is $35 and any coupons will reduce it more. Deals such as this week's ConAgra also do not effect the $50 threshold. If you do the ConAgra, you could buy $50, get $10 off, $5 for EB coupon, and $2 off (for ConAgra). Total at that point $33. You will probably have more coupons to make it even lower. Love Shop 'n Save!!

    Replies
    1. Thanks! Is the Sappington Market $10/$50 in place of or in addition to the SNS $10/$50?

      Delete
    2. It's in place of. Use SFM coupon the week's SNS doesn't offer the $10/$50.

Not all store will match SFM coupon. On the weeks that SNS does not offer the $10/$50 I inlclude a list of store that will match SFM coupon.

    1. Hi Eve - When you print that coupon it is actually a store coupon for Pulbic. I sure don't know why were are seeing it under a St Louis zip code.

Maybe Public is moving to town? Only, in our dreams.

      Delete
  9. Jeri - I DO have dreams of Publix moving to St Louis! We couldnt get that lucky though.

A couple more price check requests if anyone goes to SNS before Thurs - Ocean Spray and Welchs 64 oz juices, and Stouffers Sautes.

    3. CJ - I couldn't find Stouffers Sautes at the store I price checked

Ocean Spray Juice (64 oz) $3.17 to $3.57
      Welch's Juice (64 oz) - $3.00

  10. OK...welches is 2/$6 (pretty sure ). The Ocean Spray Cherry was high...over $3 each. High enough I didn't even take a pic, LOL! Thanks Jeri on the publix ctach! It didnt even dawn on me it would be a store q!

    1. Can you use the Ocean Spray coupon where you buy 1 Cranberry Drink and get the Cherry Drink Free? or does this violate the coupon 50% retail price policy?

      Delete
    2. I've never had problems using a B1G1 printable at SNS. As long as the free item is equal to or less than the price of the 1st item, it shouldn't violate the 50% policy.

    1. Hi Sammy - Yes, SNS is on the list of participating store for the Cottonelle Cat. I've got Cottonelle on my list for price checking.

I was going to head to SNS yesterday afternoon, but decided people in panic mode because it was going to snow would have driven me crazy. I will get there today.

    2. Jerry & Sammy,

I checked the Cottonelle yesterday and the 12 pks are running $8.78 ea. HTH I think Schnucks might be a better deal-if they are participating also-their price is $6.88 ea. =)

  15. Planning my trip, it was easier than I thought. I'm already up to $50 just with cat food, cat litter and 1 Conagra deal. Trying to decide if I should make a 2nd trip for "real food".

    Replies
    1. Hi CJ - It isn't hard to get to $50 at SNS. Make sure you have a back up plan just in case something you want to buy is out of stock. The store I price checked at yesterday only had 2 bags of Cat Pride litter on the shelf. Some stores stock better than others for the $10 off $50.

      Delete
  16. Jeri - It's always easier to spend $50 than I think it will be! If they are low on Cats Pride I'll stock up on regular groceries. Thanks to everyone for the price checks and ideas.

  18. Really disappointed with SNS! I got up at 5am to do my shopping and the delmonte fruit cups were a misprint. it's only for the canned fruit. If they advertise it and didnt catch their own mistake in the proofread, they should honor the ad. (edwardsville location).

    1. Sorry to hear about your troubles. SNS ads are notorious for have misinformation in their ads. Some week's I've seen the ad stand look like it's wallpapered in ad correction notices.

  19. Was the Hunt's Pasta sauce really part of the $2 off deal? I bought some type of Hunt's Sauce that was .80 and the $2 didn't come off. I couldn't find any that was .98 that was "sauce," so figured that was it. Went to CS after I checked out and she said only the $1 tomatoes variety are part of it, so I exchanged what I had. But just curious if others are finding some variety that's .98 that is working. Not that it matters now... LOL!

    1. I purchased the $.98 Hunts Pasta sauce this morning as part of the $2 deal and it triggered the $2 instant savings.

    2. The original info that Hunt's Pasta Sauce was included in the Instant Savings caIt me from Janet. Her store posted advertising that pictured the participting products.

On these Instant Savings or Catalina deals that have a large number of particptaing products, it not that unusaul that one variety of some products gets missed when the numbers are intered into the register/computer.

After Megans comment that it worked for her, it looks like you might have choosen the unlucky variety that got missed.

    5. Thank you all! I looked for something that was .98 and didn't see anything, so that's why I picked the .80 product. Probably should have just went with the tomatoes originally. Oh, well! Yeah, it's really a guessing games sometimes! LOL!

  20. I had a great day (and midnight) at SNS! I was also disappointed in the Delmonte Fruit Bowls/cups since my ds uses them in his lunch. I did well though, used a $15 rebate (cashed check) towards my purchases, along with $10 off $50, the $5 EB q my total came to $3 OOP for my first trip! My second trip cost $17 oop...not too bad to stock up on things that we will absolutely be using! Hope SNS doesn't wait too long to have another 10 off. At midnight, I had the best checker at the Edwardsville store - I am usually impressed the with customer service there! Happy Shopping to all not finished yet!! Eve

    1. Great Shopping! SNS has only been running the $10/$50 about once a month. I wouldn't expect one again until mid-march. I hope I'm wrong.

  21. I made two trips at midnight, combined OOP of $65.41 on $112.13 worth for 58% savings (based on sales price, not regular price). Would have liked a lower OOP but a lot of it was cat food that I only had $3 in coupons for. But I stocked up and was pleased with my trips. The Kirkwood SNS was great. The Crestwood store was noisy from remodeling and the cashier a little too zealous trying to deny my coupons. I won :)

    3. Thanks Ladies! I was tired and grumpy by the 2nd trip at 1:30am so I better limit myself to one midnight run from now on! The lights in SNS must be dimmed at night - I couldnt get my solar calculator to work in the aisles, had to keep going back to the coolers near the meat dept to get enough light to make it work.

    4. I always use the calculator on my phone...and sometimes it takes me forever to get it working! I LOVE shopping at midnight - but I was SUPER tired too. The only thing that's hard is that they are restocking the shelves - and so sometimes you may want something that they haven't restocked yet (or there's a big pallet in front of where you need to reach!). They're always so good about letting me look on the pallets and get what I need if it's not reshelved yet. Eve
