UPS My Choice - Get Home Delivery on Your Schedule

Sign up for UPS My Choice - It's FREE and easy
  • Get alerts via phone, text  or email  the day before the delivery
  • Give authorization online for UPS to deliver packages without a signature for drop-off when you're not going to be home to sign in person.
  • Request packages to be held for pickup at a UPS facility.
Wow!  This service sure makes life easier.  I'm home most of the day, but it still can be a hassle not knowing  when a UPS delivery will arrive.  I know I've waited at home for the UPS truck when my son has ordered a new video game that he can't live without.   For people that are gone from home all day, this service would be a lifesaver.

  1. I actually used this when I ordered a new computer. Both my husband and I work and the nearest UPS pick up warehouse is a 30 minute drive away. I certainly didn't want them leaving the computer at my doorstep. I was able to go in and change my delivery to a UPS Store which is just 5 minutes from where I work. Other than a miscommunication at the warehouse, everything went really well. I was so happy that UPS created this program.

  2. Hi Amanda - Yes, a service company actually offering what their clients need. Now, if only the cable, phone .... installers would be so convenient.

  3. I've used the service twice and havent had good results. Both times the only estimated delivery time they would give was "end of day" and both times the delivery got delayed by at least a day. Changing my delivery location would have cost $7 which I refused. The day they delivered my laptop they insisted I had to be home to sign for it and when the delivery man finally came after 7pm he just handed it to me when I answered the door and didnt have me sign. I refuse to use UPS now unless I dont have a choice for delivery.
