Brooks Chili Beans $.89. Use $.45/2 10/14SS making them $.43/2. (Schnucks price is $.99.)
Ortega Taco Seasoning $.79. Use $.50/2 10/7SS making them $.04 each. (Schnucks price is $.89.)

Sammy - Thanks! I was at the McKenzie Point store late yesterday afternoon and didn't notice any signage, but yes - they are matching Schnucks.

  11. Being a New England transplant I always missed my triples at waldbaums and stop and shop but figured the 10/50 with the 5/50 ent at shop and save was as good as it got here in st louis. Dierburgs and Schnucks are so much cleaner and have better choices than shop n save I hope they keep doing this and Rite aid comes here too Thanks for such a great site! your matchups make it so easy.

    1. Hi New Englander Transplant - I hope they keep the triples too - at least periodically. This week is pretty exciting for the St Louis couponers, since we've only been able to read about triples in other parts of the country.

I hope all your friends it New England are safe and warm this week.

    3. I was really hoping the would continue to do it maybe once a month or something like how shop n save has the $10 off $50 thursdays once a month. Im thinking we all need to start getting in touch with our General Managers and asking for them to continue this great deal!

    4. I sent the corporation an email to say thank you and hope they do it again. Because it can really help out the single parents.

  13. A small watch out. My store was relentless in scouring the coupons. they would only accept 1 of each Prairie Farms coupon. (Yep, that cost me $3...) As we all know, the PF coupons are an anomaly and since they all have the same numbers (printed directly from the PF website), they refused to take them. I've never had that problem before now. Even regular internet printables were questioned. I had to point out the different numbers and she still made me wait until she asked a manager. Gonna be a fun week, but one of educating each other...

    ReplyDelete

    1. Melissa - You should have left the PF products at the store. If things don't work out like they should, I don't buy them.

    2. I never use PF printables at any store here because they cause so many problems.

      Delete
    3. I haven't had a problem using the PF Qs at Schnucks or SNS. Another example of how it depends on the cashier and the store!

      Delete
    4. SNS cashier loudly exclaimed that I photocopied the coupon, Schnucks wouldnt even try to scan it. I think I did get one to work & double at Dierbergs once. Too much of a hassle for me.

  21. Pillsbury Grand Biscuits are $1.68 and have .40 cent off 3 peelies (or there is internet printables and other places) Schnucks has a $1 off your next order that prints when you buy 3 which makes them $0.96 each wyb 3. 1. Thanks, Elizabeth - Have you only shopped at one Schnucks. From what I have found, one store can be wiped out of the good deals and another store untouched. You might want to stop at another store just to see what inventory is like.

    2. Thanks Jeri, it was the Affton Schnucks on Gravois, I pass it twice a day so I had gotten some of the deals. I think they've done a great job considering they haven't done triple coupons for as long as I can remember! They have restocked somethings but I doubt they expected things like the franks hot sauce and jollytime popcorn to fly out the door like it did. I have to say every coupon transaction went super smooth and thanks to the reasonable limits they placed on this promotion nobody was clearing shelves and the cashiers didn't seem overwhelmed.

  23. I found downy fabric softener on sale for $2.99 had a .40 off one tripled made it $1.79 and it had a free tide pod sample on it. Also, 14 ct of tide pods were on sale for $4.49 with .50 coupon tripled made them $2.99. Not free but if you use expensive laundry products and do lots of laundry it's a deal. I usually make my own fabric softener but its nice to switch it up every once in a while. Also, the tiny $1 blocks of cream cheese if you use the .50 off coupon tripled makes those FREE! And last where is everyone finding the single rolls of bounty on sale for $1?!

  24. Ok thanks! I'm about to go hit up all the schnucks in Ofallon and saint peters to see if any of them have them. Also, I haven't checked shop n save but has anyone found the free el Monterey burritos anywhere? The coupons expire Sunday and I would like to get my hands on some.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anonymous - The El Monterey website says the single burritos arent available within 50 miles of St Louis. Dierbergs has the multipack and the XL burritos but not the ones on the coupon.

The Keebler Ready Crust coupon is .50/2 not .50/1, so would be $1.84/2 after triples. Its a Red Plum coupon, I cant get it to print.

    2. The Schnucks in Florissant had the El Monterey burritos. (All of them had meat in them so I gave my free coupons away to other customers in the store..... Wish more manufacturer's would try to have a least one version of their products without dead animal flesh in it! I mean really, it's burritos... you would think there would be a bean variety!:)

      Delete
    3. I found the single El Monterey burritos at the Tesson Ferry and Arnold Dierbergs.

      Delete
    4. The single El Monterey burritos are also carried at some Targets with expanded grocery sections. They've been on price cut for $1 this week and the Fenton location was sold out as of this evening. You might have to look extra close to find them, as El Monterey offers various sizes and they aren't always shelved near each other.

  25. The Carmex Lip Conditioner is $1.29 also...makes it free with the $.50/1 printable from coupons.com!

Also, select Betty Crocker cookie pouches are marked $2 (instead of $2.50) making them $.50 with the $.50 printable. Look for the cheaper packes in the seasonal baking display (had Pumpkin cookie, Gingerbread, and Snickerdoodles). Eve

  26. Some more good triple deals at Schnucks (all coupons from tomorrow's inserts):
    Gortons frozen fish small boxes $2.99 - .50 tripled = $1.49
Pepperridge Farms Hearth baked twin french bread $2.49 - .50 tripled = .99 (rang up for $3.59 for me, I'll go back for a refund).
    Dole pineapple chunks 8oz .89 - .40/2 tripled = .29 each

    1. Hi CJ - Don't forget about Schnucks policy when something rings up wrong. The first product they will give to you free and then adjust any additional items to the correct price.

      Delete
    2. Jeri - I didnt think any of our stores did that. How long has that been Schnucks policy? I'll try it tomorrow. Seems lately I spend more time at the customer service counter than I do shopping - missed coupons, overcharges and expired products.

      Delete
    3. That has always been Schnucks & Dierbergs policy. I did a quick look through Schnucks web site and couldn't find the policy online. I know that is where I originally found it and I have taken advantage of the policy.

I hope it hasn't been done away with. Ask when you go back and let me know.

    4. Turns out the Pepperridge Farms french bread rang up at the correct price of $3.59 afterall. The $2.49 shelf sale tag was expired but they refunded me the difference. I didnt ask about the overcharge policy since it really wasnt an overcharge and I've bothered customer service way too much this week! I might ask on their Facebook page or send an email.

  29. Ooh I must have missed that! I'm pretty upset I couldn't find the single roll bounty towels at any of the schnucks in Ofallon or cottleville. Has anyone found any in the st Charles area or even chesterfield area?

  30. Just made my last Schnucks triples trip. Found the free El Monterey burritos in the same spot I looked for them yesterday, so they must have just been added. I ended up paying .39 each for them though because I thought they were $1 so the cashier just took $1 each off. But my 3 Nestle Quik .50 coupons fully tripled on the $1 pouches so I made $1.50 overage on those, so it more than evened out. In trips this week I spent $22 on $97 worth, used $75 in coupons :) Kinda glad triples are over, I'm a bit exhausted!

Some boxes have a 2x pts.(on the back of the box) for Kellogg's Family Rewards. You can also get more free Quaker Real Medley Oatmeal with the new .50 coupon in this Sunday's paper.

I'll put a couple cups in a care package for the troops. I hope everyone who got great deals this week will consider donating.

  32. The Schnucks on Lindbergh in Florissant wouldn't let the coupons triple if the price was $1.50 or less, is that normal? I am new to couponing so I didn't know if that is how it's typically handled.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anonymous,

The coupons should triple to the price of the item. So a $.50 coupon should triple to $1.50 if that is the price of the item. If the item costs $1.25 the $.50 coupon will only triple to $1.25. Occasionally we get lucky and get some overage, but it is rare.

If this store is doing it differently, you should send an email to corporate about it. Explain what the store is doing and that your experience and that of your friends (that is all of us!) has been different elsewhere and you are wondering what is the correct method of tripling. I would mention this store's interpretation of the rules is making you shop at other Schnucks and DIERBERG'S stores who triple as you think they should. State you would rather shop at your favorite Schnucks, but obviously want the appropriate price.

I really think you will get an answer. All my contacts with Schnucks have been very pleasant. They do seem to care what their shoppers say.

If you do contact them, let us know what happens.

      Delete
    2. Yes, I agree with KC.

The only thing I would add, is if this was a cashier that told you they couldn't triple coupons if the item was less than $1.50, ask to speak to Customer Service or a manager. Cashiers get very little training on the coupon policy and sometime they get all mixed up on what they think they heard.

  34. The Schnucks Employee tonight told me that Schnucks is planning to do triple coupons again, but probably not until after the Holidays. He said that his manager told him it was considered a smashing success for the stores!

  35. Awww... I still never found the El Monterey singles...thats Ok... I had to focus my time on Schnucks this week rather than running around store to store for 2 free burritoes. I was really happy that last night I went to Schnucks for my last run. I had to get meat and figured, why not do another round of doubles? I have been bothered all week that at the Cottleville Schnuks they never had any bags of Nestle morsels at the $1.17 price...they only had a smaller bag priced at $2.17....still a ton of them as there had been all week. I only had 2 Qs so I grabbed 2 bags and found someone to price check...Sure enough...they were only $1.17 and the price was never marked correctly in the aisle! Free Chocolate Chips for the Holidays. I was also glad to see the 0.50 cent Q for the quaker real medalies oatmeal... I have gotten 4 of these now for Free this week and my husband REALLY likes them. I do to! I really stocked up this week. When my husband came home from a work trip this past Friday he was all excited to see all the fun stuff we have stocked up...Fruit by the foot (he has that packed in his lunch today for work...lol)....Baking mixes... Its really fantastic.

I am very thankful that we have such great grocers here in the Stl area. The cashiers at my Schnucks were really great with this triple coupon sale....One told me that she has been looking thru peoples coupons if they are using one that is over 0.50 cents to see if she can save them more money. That is WAY above and beyond anything I've ever heard of a cashier doing to help a couponer out.

I also met some people that just started couponing because of the triple coupon week. I always get peoples email addresses if they ask me questions and then I shoot them an email with the link to this site and few others to help get them started.

    1. Hi Jess - Yes, it was a great week and all the employees I ran into were very coupon friendly. I too saw lots of first time couponers at the store yesterday.

I hope lots of people will leave comments on Schnucks Facebook page about their thoughts on this promotion.
