Don't forget the Fruit by the foot. 4.00 for 4, use .50/2 (2 of them) 1.00 for 4 boxes :)
ReplyDeleteSTOCK UP PRICE!!
Johnsonville Bulk Italian Sausage 2.49 with a $.50/1 expires 10/31/12 not sure which ad it was in = 0.99
ReplyDeleteHi Guys,
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI that the smaller bags of Nestle Morsels are $1.25 so Free after the $.50/1 MQ. =)
Also the Kraft Marshmallows are $1.00 ea and I had found a TP coupon for -$.50/2 making them $.50/2 bags and they have the Halloween Ghostmallows =)
ReplyDeleteGuess what...Dierbergs us tripling this week too!! Same restrictions....signs are in the store!!
ReplyDeleteI see a couple things better in the Dierbergs ad than at Schnucks:
DeleteBrooks Chili Beans $.89. Use $.45/2 10/14SS making them $.43/2. (Schnucks price is $.99.)
Ortega Taco Seasoning $.79. Use $.50/2 10/7SS making them $.04 each. (Schnucks price is $.89.)
Hi All - Thanks for the additional prices. I'm adding them to the post with a the date of the update, so everyone can follow which are new.
ReplyDeleteSammy - Thanks! I was at the McKenzie Point store late yesterday afternoon and didn't notice any signage, but yes - they are matching Schnucks.
The Bisquick link does not print a coupon. They must be out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know.
DeleteThere is a new link up on coupons.com for .50/1 I just printed today!
DeletePampers 72 count wipes are 2 for $5 and if you use two Pamper Wipes coupons (10/28PG) for .50 (that triples) you will pay $1.00 each.
ReplyDeletesweet
DeletePure Via sweetner, 40 packet box is $1.79. CouponNetwork printable for .50 makes it .29. Found hanging strip of Chapstick singles for $1 each at checkout lane with .25 peelies on them, making Chapstick single .25!!
ReplyDeleteBounty single rolls are $1.00 and there's a $.25 coupon. Makes them $.25!
ReplyDeleteWhich store? Ofallon did not have them at k&N. Thanks!
DeleteThanks, there was no price on them at my store.
DeleteAt my store they were in the same row as the paper towels, but not by the other Bounty rolls. More by the paper plates and such. The second store I went didn't have any that I could find. Good luck!
DeleteBeing a New England transplant I always missed my triples at waldbaums and stop and shop but figured the 10/50 with the 5/50 ent at shop and save was as good as it got here in st louis. Dierburgs and Schnucks are so much cleaner and have better choices than shop n save I hope they keep doing this and Rite aid comes here too Thanks for such a great site! your matchups make it so easy.
ReplyDeleteHi New Englander Transplant - I hope they keep the triples too - at least periodically. This week is pretty exciting for the St Louis couponers, since we've only been able to read about triples in other parts of the country.
DeleteI hope all your friends it New England are safe and warm this week.
Cashier told me it's to celebrate a new store opening - not sure where.
Delete- Lisa R
I was really hoping the would continue to do it maybe once a month or something like how shop n save has the $10 off $50 thursdays once a month. Im thinking we all need to start getting in touch with our General Managers and asking for them to continue this great deal!
DeleteI sent the corporation an email to say thank you and hope they do it again. Because it can really help out the single parents.
DeleteQuacker Medley singles are either $1.25 or $1.50 and there are .50 Qs making it free.
ReplyDeleteA small watch out. My store was relentless in scouring the coupons. they would only accept 1 of each Prairie Farms coupon. (Yep, that cost me $3...) As we all know, the PF coupons are an anomaly and since they all have the same numbers (printed directly from the PF website), they refused to take them. I've never had that problem before now. Even regular internet printables were questioned. I had to point out the different numbers and she still made me wait until she asked a manager. Gonna be a fun week, but one of educating each other...
ReplyDeleteMelissa - You should have left the PF products at the store. If things don't work out like they should, I don't buy them.
DeleteI never use PF printables at any store here because they cause so many problems.
DeleteI haven't had a problem using the PF Qs at Schnucks or SNS. Another example of how it depends on the cashier and the store!
DeleteSNS cashier loudly exclaimed that I photocopied the coupon, Schnucks wouldnt even try to scan it. I think I did get one to work & double at Dierbergs once. Too much of a hassle for me.
DeleteHi All - Thanks for the additional price info. I'll add it to the list.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning to All,
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI cause I do not think it has been mentioned yet-there is a limit of 3 like coupons per details in store. =) HTH Just so no one runs into any problems. =)
Thanks, Janet! I'll add that to my posts.
DeleteDoes anyone know the price of Arm & Hammer 2 lbs baking soda? There is a $.50/2 coupon on their website. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have the price of Quaker Grits & yellow cornmeal (both in cardboard jar)? Thanks in advance for any help.
ReplyDeleteDiamond Crystal Salt Sense(13oz)$1.35. Coupons.com has .35 coupon=.30
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThanks to everyone for helping with triple coupon info this week. In 3 trips to Schnucks and Dierbergs I spent $14 on $57 worth, including some items I didnt have coupons for, so my triple coupon savings were even better! I hope the stores will do this again sometime.
ReplyDeleteHealthy Life bread is on sale for $2.19. Makes it $1.04 with tripled Q.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeletePillsbury Grand Biscuits are $1.68 and have .40 cent off 3 peelies (or there is internet printables and other places) Schnucks has a $1 off your next order that prints when you buy 3 which makes them $0.96 each wyb 3. Not a wow deal but a lot of the listed items above were out of stock when I last went
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth - Have you only shopped at one Schnucks. From what I have found, one store can be wiped out of the good deals and another store untouched. You might want to stop at another store just to see what inventory is like.
DeleteThanks Jeri, it was the Affton Schnucks on Gravois, I pass it twice a day so I had gotten some of the deals. I think they've done a great job considering they haven't done triple coupons for as long as I can remember! They have restocked somethings but I doubt they expected things like the franks hot sauce and jollytime popcorn to fly out the door like it did. I have to say every coupon transaction went super smooth and thanks to the reasonable limits they placed on this promotion nobody was clearing shelves and the cashiers didn't seem overwhelmed.
DeleteDoes anyone know about the Campbell's CATALINA?!? One printed for me yesterday!
ReplyDeleteBought 6 Tomato soups @ $1 each = $6
Used 2@ .40/3 coupons tripled = ($2.40)
Got a $1.50 Catalina ($1.50)
Final cost $0.35/can - I'm planning to donate them to one of the food drives during the holidays!
Debra
Here is what I found going on at Albertson's & Korger. It sure sounds like it would be the same at Schnucks from the Cat you received.
DeleteBuy (5 or 6) get $1.50 Catalina Coupon
Buy (7 or 8) get $2.00
Buy (9) or more get $2.50
I found downy fabric softener on sale for $2.99 had a .40 off one tripled made it $1.79 and it had a free tide pod sample on it. Also, 14 ct of tide pods were on sale for $4.49 with .50 coupon tripled made them $2.99. Not free but if you use expensive laundry products and do lots of laundry it's a deal. I usually make my own fabric softener but its nice to switch it up every once in a while. Also, the tiny $1 blocks of cream cheese if you use the .50 off coupon tripled makes those FREE! And last where is everyone finding the single rolls of bounty on sale for $1?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your pricing info!
DeleteAnonymous - At the Kirkwood Schnucks the Bounty Basic single rolls are on the main paper towel shelf. I've also found them at the back of the store facing the milk section and at the front of the store in the promo area.
DeleteOk thanks! I'm about to go hit up all the schnucks in Ofallon and saint peters to see if any of them have them. Also, I haven't checked shop n save but has anyone found the free el Monterey burritos anywhere? The coupons expire Sunday and I would like to get my hands on some.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - The El Monterey website says the single burritos arent available within 50 miles of St Louis. Dierbergs has the multipack and the XL burritos but not the ones on the coupon.
DeleteThe Keebler Ready Crust coupon is .50/2 not .50/1, so would be $1.84/2 after triples. Its a Red Plum coupon, I cant get it to print.
The Schnucks in Florissant had the El Monterey burritos. (All of them had meat in them so I gave my free coupons away to other customers in the store..... Wish more manufacturer's would try to have a least one version of their products without dead animal flesh in it! I mean really, it's burritos... you would think there would be a bean variety!:)
DeleteI found the single El Monterey burritos at the Tesson Ferry and Arnold Dierbergs.
DeleteThe single El Monterey burritos are also carried at some Targets with expanded grocery sections. They've been on price cut for $1 this week and the Fenton location was sold out as of this evening. You might have to look extra close to find them, as El Monterey offers various sizes and they aren't always shelved near each other.
DeleteThe Carmex Lip Conditioner is $1.29 also...makes it free with the $.50/1 printable from coupons.com!
ReplyDeleteAlso, select Betty Crocker cookie pouches are marked $2 (instead of $2.50) making them $.50 with the $.50 printable. Look for the cheaper packes in the seasonal baking display (had Pumpkin cookie, Gingerbread, and Snickerdoodles). Eve
Some more good triple deals at Schnucks (all coupons from tomorrow's inserts):
ReplyDeleteGortons frozen fish small boxes $2.99 - .50 tripled = $1.49
Pepperridge Farms Hearth baked twin french bread $2.49 - .50 tripled = .99 (rang up for $3.59 for me, I'll go back for a refund).
Dole pineapple chunks 8oz .89 - .40/2 tripled = .29 each
Hi CJ - Don't forget about Schnucks policy when something rings up wrong. The first product they will give to you free and then adjust any additional items to the correct price.
DeleteJeri - I didnt think any of our stores did that. How long has that been Schnucks policy? I'll try it tomorrow. Seems lately I spend more time at the customer service counter than I do shopping - missed coupons, overcharges and expired products.
DeleteThat has always been Schnucks & Dierbergs policy. I did a quick look through Schnucks web site and couldn't find the policy online. I know that is where I originally found it and I have taken advantage of the policy.
DeleteI hope it hasn't been done away with. Ask when you go back and let me know.
Turns out the Pepperridge Farms french bread rang up at the correct price of $3.59 afterall. The $2.49 shelf sale tag was expired but they refunded me the difference. I didnt ask about the overcharge policy since it really wasnt an overcharge and I've bothered customer service way too much this week! I might ask on their Facebook page or send an email.
DeleteWas going to buy the Downy fabric softener (21 load) that I read about but saw that next to it was Snuggle 64 oz.(26 load) on sale for $3 & with the .50 RP 10-14 coupon (triple) makes it an even better deal for $1.50.
ReplyDeleteHi All - Thanks for the additional price info. You comments have been so helpful.
ReplyDeleteOoh I must have missed that! I'm pretty upset I couldn't find the single roll bounty towels at any of the schnucks in Ofallon or cottleville. Has anyone found any in the st Charles area or even chesterfield area?
ReplyDeleteJust made my last Schnucks triples trip. Found the free El Monterey burritos in the same spot I looked for them yesterday, so they must have just been added. I ended up paying .39 each for them though because I thought they were $1 so the cashier just took $1 each off. But my 3 Nestle Quik .50 coupons fully tripled on the $1 pouches so I made $1.50 overage on those, so it more than evened out. In trips this week I spent $22 on $97 worth, used $75 in coupons :) Kinda glad triples are over, I'm a bit exhausted!
ReplyDeleteShhh! Don't tell Schnuck your exhausted. We want them to do this again :)
DeleteI just came across some internet coupons I had printed on Kellogg's products that were .50/1. You can get 8 ct. Poptarts for .38 & Frosted Flakes 10 oz. box for $1 or 19 oz. box for $1.50. Some boxes have a 2x pts.(on the back of the box) for Kellogg's Family Rewards. You can also get more free Quaker Real Medley Oatmeal with the new .50 coupon in this Sunday's paper.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI drove by Schnucks today and was sad I couldnt run in for more stuff! So I rested up quickly :) I had one of the free Quaker oatmeal cups for breakfast, the Cherry Pistachio is so good! I'll put a couple cups in a care package for the troops. I hope everyone who got great deals this week will consider donating.
DeleteThe Schnucks on Lindbergh in Florissant wouldn't let the coupons triple if the price was $1.50 or less, is that normal? I am new to couponing so I didn't know if that is how it's typically handled.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
DeleteThe coupons should triple to the price of the item. So a $.50 coupon should triple to $1.50 if that is the price of the item. If the item costs $1.25 the $.50 coupon will only triple to $1.25. Occasionally we get lucky and get some overage, but it is rare.
If this store is doing it differently, you should send an email to corporate about it. Explain what the store is doing and that your experience and that of your friends (that is all of us!) has been different elsewhere and you are wondering what is the correct method of tripling. I would mention this store's interpretation of the rules is making you shop at other Schnucks and DIERBERG'S stores who triple as you think they should. State you would rather shop at your favorite Schnucks, but obviously want the appropriate price.
I really think you will get an answer. All my contacts with Schnucks have been very pleasant. They do seem to care what their shoppers say.
If you do contact them, let us know what happens.
Yes, I agree with KC.
DeleteThe only thing I would add, is if this was a cashier that told you they couldn't triple coupons if the item was less than $1.50, ask to speak to Customer Service or a manager. Cashiers get very little training on the coupon policy and sometime they get all mixed up on what they think they heard.
Good Morning to All,
ReplyDeleteThanks a million to Elizabeth H. for mentioning the Pillsbury Cat. It triggered something in my brain from the past to test out.
The Pillsbury Grands Jr 5 ct cans are running $1.00 and they work for the Pillsbury Cat.
Buy 6 Pills. Grands Jrs. $6.00
Use 2 x -$.40/3 Triples to -$2.40
=$3.60
Get a $3 Cat back
Makes them $.10 per can =)
The small cans are on sale next week also for $1 but not as good a deal. =)
Thanks, Janet! There is a $0.50/3 printable on Box Tops that will make 6 free after coupons and Cat.
DeleteJanet, thanks so much for the heads up! I got 12 cans. DH and DS thank you too!
DeleteThe Schnucks Employee tonight told me that Schnucks is planning to do triple coupons again, but probably not until after the Holidays. He said that his manager told him it was considered a smashing success for the stores!
ReplyDeleteGood news! I was surprised my Schnucks store wasnt any busier than usual during triples.
DeleteYes, very good news! I stopped in late yesterday afternoon for one more trip and I had never seen so many people using coupons.
DeleteAwww... I still never found the El Monterey singles...thats Ok... I had to focus my time on Schnucks this week rather than running around store to store for 2 free burritoes. I was really happy that last night I went to Schnucks for my last run. I had to get meat and figured, why not do another round of doubles? I have been bothered all week that at the Cottleville Schnuks they never had any bags of Nestle morsels at the $1.17 price...they only had a smaller bag priced at $2.17....still a ton of them as there had been all week. I only had 2 Qs so I grabbed 2 bags and found someone to price check...Sure enough...they were only $1.17 and the price was never marked correctly in the aisle! Free Chocolate Chips for the Holidays. I was also glad to see the 0.50 cent Q for the quaker real medalies oatmeal... I have gotten 4 of these now for Free this week and my husband REALLY likes them. I do to! I really stocked up this week. When my husband came home from a work trip this past Friday he was all excited to see all the fun stuff we have stocked up...Fruit by the foot (he has that packed in his lunch today for work...lol)....Baking mixes... Its really fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI am very thankful that we have such great grocers here in the Stl area. The cashiers at my Schnucks were really great with this triple coupon sale....One told me that she has been looking thru peoples coupons if they are using one that is over 0.50 cents to see if she can save them more money. That is WAY above and beyond anything I've ever heard of a cashier doing to help a couponer out.
I also met some people that just started couponing because of the triple coupon week. I always get peoples email addresses if they ask me questions and then I shoot them an email with the link to this site and few others to help get them started.
Jess
Hi Jess - Yes, it was a great week and all the employees I ran into were very coupon friendly. I too saw lots of first time couponers at the store yesterday.
DeleteI hope lots of people will leave comments on Schnucks Facebook page about their thoughts on this promotion.
