Menu Plan Monday - Week of 10/01/12


I love meal planning this time of year - cool enough to cook a roast in the oven, but warm enough to want to grill also.

Monday: Pioneer Woman's Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Homemade Applesauce

Tuesday: Grilled BBQ Chicken Thighs, Fries, Coleslaw, Grapes

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Bean, Beef & Pepper Jack Flautas (new recipe for me)

Friday: Grill Pork Chops, Baked Potatoes, Veggie, Homemade Applesauce

Saturday: Frozen Pizza, Green Salad
My husband and I signed up to chaperone  the high school homecoming dance.  We need something quick for dinner before we put in our ear plugs and head to the dance.

Sunday:  Swedish Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Cranberry Sauce

  1. Thanks for mentioning Swedish meatballs. I may make them this week using the Progresso Portbella Mushroom recipe starter that I have leftover. I'm off work for a whole week so will have to feed myself at home. I better think of more things to cook!

    2. Jeri - Just a day trip to Effingham. I have painting and laundry to do, neither will be fun. But I'm glad to have time off.
