ReplyDeleteThe simplait yoplait is also triggering the cat and it's on sale for 60 cents.
ReplyDeleteAlso, check your coupon stash b/c I had a couple of $3/2 Digiorno beer coupons (expire 10/3) and a free edy's wyb 3 Digiorno. I got 4 pizzas and an ice cream for $11 after counting in the cat. Both coupons were from tearpads.
There is a $.40/1 Simplait yogurt coupon at bettycrocker.com which would double to make it free.

DeleteHi All - I just got back from Schnucks and am going to post about the additional GM Cat deal, but my computer is acting up - grrrrr......
ReplyDeleteGive me a teenager in a bad mood any day rather than a computer acting up.
I just went to Schnucks again to use my DiGiorno coupons that expire today. They beeped and the cashier said they were expired b/c they have an expiration date of today. She said I needed to use them by yesterday. I told her I didn't think that was correct and she ended up pushing them through, but that is something I have never heard and wanted to make sure I was correct. My understanding was that the expiration date listed on the coupon is the last day you can use them. Is that correct?

DeleteAlthough, I have heard of someone having the same problem with a different coupon on the expiration date. I don't think it happens with all the coupons.
It might be interesting to contact Digiorno and ask for their opinion on this situation.
Hmm... I bought 18 items last night and only had 2 $2 cats print out. I went back and looked at my receipt and there are definitely 18 items on there. I'm not sure if maybe I bought a variety of something that was not included in the promotion or what.

DeleteJust got back from Schnucks - mine had the cornmuffin mix in stock as well as the Simplait singles which ended up all being marked and triggering the $2 cat. While I was there I found a Sam Adams MIR for Oktoberfest - $5 back wyb $10 or more of sausage, buns, saurkraut or salty snacks. Also found Budweiser $4 MIR wyb 2 tostitos chips or salsas. Keep a look out, this is the most new MIRs in a bunch that I have seen in a while! (there was also a Shock Top for $4 on pumpkins)

I really doubt you can buy 12 items and get 2 Catalinas. Even if you could, I would not. I would buy 6 items and get the $2 Catalina. Then buy 6 other items and use the first Catalina to pay. You will get a new Catalina. That reduces your out of pocket expenses. (Never do that at Walgreens with a Register Reward for a certain product to purchase that item again.)
