A huge thank you to Schnucks for offering Super Double coupons in the St Louis stores.
I hope the stores found this promotion to be a smashing success. I know it was for the couponing community.
The stores were well stocked, the employees knowledgeable about the promotion (and what to do when a coupon didn't automatically double), and all of the employees welcomed the use of coupons. The stores had a festive atmosphere - what else could you ever want from a grocer?

My daughter works at Schnucks. She ended up staying three hours longer and said they were SWAMPED! So happy to hear it was so successful. Hopefully that means they'll do it again soon. Had such a fun couponing day yesterday!!
ReplyDeleteHi - From my experience, all Schnucks employees were in a great mood even though they were swamped. So different than my experience on a busy SNS Thursday. But I've heard there are some SNS I hear are great on a $10/$50 Thursday.
DeleteI talked to a manager for a few minutes. His store was very happy with the results of the promotion and he hoped they would do this again also.
I was just reviewing my receipts from yesterday. I did 2 trips, one in the morning and one after work. By my evening trip a lot of the items were gone but I had plenty of coupons to buy some of the other items. I do not have a facebook page but I do want to give a shout out to the Schnucks in BETHALTO, IL. They were awesome! They had plenty of help and they were all willing to take the coupons plus watch to make sure they rang up correctly. My total grocery purchase started at $87.60 and I only spend $28.49 out of my pocket. Thanks for all who posted price updates, it really helped me plan my trips! ReplyDeleteYes, it was an awesome day for couponing! I did five transactions at five different stores and got almost $300 of groceries for $80. So exciting. My favorite deals were on 8th Continent Soy Milk ($1.15 after coupons), Silk Fruit & Protein ($0.49ea) and Morningstar & Gardein Vegan products($1.50 to $2.79ea:). All the items that usually make up most of our OOP cost for groceries! I've been on the Schnucks customer advisory panel (they send out email questionaires to survey customer experiences & products periodically) so I will definetly let them know during the next survey how much our family LOVED Double & Triple Coupons:)

I really really appreciate it. I truly commend the Schnucks employees for being so pleasant & respectful towards us couponers in spite of them being so busy and am sure exhausted. I didn't experience any mean-ness from them & it was a good surprise. Hope they do this Double and Triple Coupons again & again & again & again & .... :))
