Just got back from CVS where I bought $58.49 of product for $1.88! Received a $2 ECB at kiosk for fall savings, but no others involved with transaction. The OFallon CVS is very patient and accommodating to coupon shoppers. All the cashiers and managers are always pleasant and very helpful. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteHi jlat11 - Great shopping!
ReplyDeleteMC Machine gave me $3 off Almay cosmetics, so keep an eye out.
ReplyDeleteA lot of makeup items are 50-75% off at cvs by olive and I-170.
ReplyDeleteThanks, pixie_bit & Seden!
ReplyDeleteCan someone explain how the "spend x, get x ECBs" work at CVS?
ReplyDeleteI think I am seeing if you are close to the total, you get the ECBs anyway?
I know at SNS, they always do the Buy $20 PG products, get OYNO. The diapers will be 19.99 and you are forced to purchase something else to get over the $20.
Is CVS different in this matter?
Thanks.
Hi Andrea - Yes, CVS is a little different than most retailers with they offer a buy $$ get $ deals.
DeleteThe ECB will trigger when you are close to the required purchase. I've heard it is 98% of the required purchase.
Another good thing about CVS is that you don't have to purchase all of the products in one transaction. The offers are good for the entire week. So, if you think you're close enough, make your purchase, and if the ECB doesn't print, you can then purchase another product to get you to the purchase requirement.
