ReplyDeleteI kind of feel bad for Dierbergs this week. They decided to take the lead on a coupon promotion. That tells me they have bought into these extra coupon deals, and then Schnucks has to one-up them tripling $0.75 coupons. ---- I'm not complaining as a consumer though.
I felt the same way! My dierbergs got plenty of business from me this week though. I have to say for the record that my dierbergs is fantastic to shop at. I had absolutely zero problems with this promo - the things that exceeded the purchase price, like the recipe starters, even gave me overage! I have noticed a definite effort by them to improve their promotions and be more coupon friendly. In fact, when I look back I would say I have gotten the very best deals at dierbergs, it is just a smaller number each week or more infrequent.

DeleteI would shop there more often if they had a store in the City. I have to drive by several Schnucks and several Shop 'n Save's to get to the closest Dierbergs. It has to be a really good deal for me to make the trek.
