Yep. My CC company issued a new credit card number. I still haven't gotten my card yet. This morning I went ahead and had my debit card number changed. Back to ol' fashion paper money for me for a while. I probably should do it that way anyway. What is a huge pain is that I have a bunch of things set up for auto pay on my CC. Now I have to have all of that changed.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcella - I agree that it is a huge pain to change all the auto pay or deposits on a debit/credit card. But, better than loosing money.
DeleteI'm so used to swiping the debit card and not carrying cash - this even makes me rethink that habit.
I got a new debit card in the mail from my bank today. I didn't request it... the letter said that the bank had been alerted that many numbers may have been compromised from a major company where the card had been used. We called and requested new credit cards, too. I haven't had any suspicious activity, but I'm definitely sticking to cash for a while. Knowing several people that got numbers stolen hit home!
ReplyDeleteWe also got a new debit card in the mail without asking for it. I checked my records back to November (just to be safe), and did not find any suspicious activity. I'm going to switch it out, but I will still use cash for a while! Mindy
DeleteDang, I was really hoping for some coupon promo this week, especially given all the credit card issues....
ReplyDeleteMe too, I feel like Schnucks changed their ads to Wednesdays so they could follow what the other stores/competition are doing. And we all know, Dierbergs isn't known to take the lead on the Coupon events such as Super Doubles, and Triples. I'm so disappointed lately. I thought this would be an ongoing thing but we have went awhile without anything. :( Hopefully, we will see something soon.
