ReplyDeleteI know, I know. Everyone is wanting Super Coupons again, but I'm not sure there are many coupons in our stashes yet.
DeleteI may be impatient but I dislike Schnucks ad coming out on Wednesday. Especially when its not a super doubles or triples week. I know I shouldn't complain, instead I should be getting ready in hopes for a super week. Never hurts to be organized!!!

DeleteBut, from a shoppers point of view, I can't quite get used to the Wed. ad. I like to have my weekly shopping planned by Wed. Although I think in other parts of the country ads coming out before the weekend are the norm.
I am so happy to finally get a break from super duper triple quadruple coupons. :) A week long is just exhausting. Expecially with an 8 month old to drag along.

I'm glad for the Wed start. A worker at my Schnucks told me what I suspected to be true. They changed the ad week so that no matter what event the other stores do, they have time to get together a better one. So if dierbergs does a super triple 0.50....shnucks is going to do a 0.75 triple....we will all benefit from the competition :) This worker told me alot of other stuff too, and from what he was telling me, we are all in for this health competition of coupon events for a while to come ;) Schnucks is not loosing out, in fact they are doing better than ever with these events. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Finally we have the same deals that you see with couponing in allot of the southern states!
ReplyDeleteYou did get some great news. From what I've been able to tell, Schnucks started offering Super Coupon deals when they purchased the Kroger stores in No. ILL. They might have had to compete with what Kroger had been offering in the area. They must have felt like it was a real success, or they wouldn't have starting offering it in all markets.
DeleteI got a totally different opinion from a Dierbergs store employee. She told me that they were loosing money by offering Super Coupons and won't be able to keep offering them. I think that was her personal opinion and she probably shouldn't of shared it with me. She wasn't coupon friendly at all.
