This might cause issues since Walmart's policy states that they don't accept coupons for free items. I know the coupon comes from their site so it should work flawlessly but I'm mentally preparing myself for a struggle. :)
Unless they completely changed their policy, if a cpn made an item free because after cpn worth x amount was deducted you had no problem. If there was overage after the cpn they would give it to you. I had it happen many times when I use to shop there. I haven't shopped there in 6 months. The deals at other stores are saving me far more money then I would a Walmart. Also, there was a cpn yesterday for free Lance Xtra crackers on it say "only at Walmart". That would seem impossible if they don't take cpns for free items. Not trying to be a pain, just thought that this info might be helpful.
I had the issue of "it won't scan, so we can't accept it" today, and the cashier wouldn't try to manually enter the code or the amount. It has one of those double bar codes on it that never scan for internet coupons...
I agree nskcsf but I've read on other blogs that people are having issues with it because it is technically against their policy. I've personally never experience consistency from store to store or even cashier to cashier, so it wouldn't surprise me. I just wanted to mention that it *might* be an issue but I hope not because it's my only reason for making a trip to Walmart this week.
Hi All, Obviously, they issue a coupon like this to entice all of us who aren't Walmart shoppers to give them a try. And then, there are issues with the coupon. What marketing department thought this on up?
Maybe we should all bombard Walmart Corp with complaints.
Good news - I just used four of the coupons at Kirkwood Walmart and the transaction was flawless! The cashier was a lot nicer than most that I've encountered at that store, so that probably helped.
There's also a coupon on smartsource.com for $1 off Birdseye Recipe Ready veggies, they are reportedly around $1-$1.28 at Walmart.

oopps, I didn't realize that this was attached to the Lance cpn. I thought it was the Birdseye cpn. Sorry
