  1. Got all the freebies I wanted at the Maplewood store this morning (many of the items were in a bin at the front). The cashier said Raisenets were included in the Hershey Theater Box candy deal but they werent - rang up at $1.67 and didnt give any ECBs. Of course I didnt notice til after I left. Still an awesome haul :)

  2. I started with a 5 ecb and ended up spending about seven more and got sooooo much stuff. well over a hundred bucks worth of stuff. I had other coupons and deals i was getting too but lots of stuff to stock my medicine cabinet for free. Mostly digestive products today but great haul!!! Plus Maplewood store's cashiers are so friendly and polite.

    1. My cashier at Maplewood actually said out loud with customers at the register, "I dont like that CVS gives away so much free stuff". I thought that was a tad inappropriate. Plus she was telling everyone that all of the boxed candy was free, when that is not the case. The cashiers who work there other times I've shopped are always great, this one not so much.

  3. Its shocking to me that employees even at Walmart -all & Target in Maplewood seem to have a personal issue with people such as myself who use coupons.. Every time I shop at either store you would think that I have a 2 page report that they have to read and then get approval from the teacher/Mgr!

  4. I personally stopped shopping at CVS on OLIVE & 170 due to the very dry and unprofessional employees that are there.

  5. I fail to see the purpose in cashier bashing, especially during the time when there are so many freebies offered at CVS.

    1. Just because CVS is offering free products doesn't mean that they don't also need to include professional employees. The employes need to represent the company they work for and if they can't do it in a friendly manner then they need to work elsewhere. Sometimes I do feel bad for giving a cashier a lot of coupons, then I think about it and if I'm not there shopping (along with everyone else) then that cashier won't have a job. They are actually paid to "DO" a job. Whether its checking, couponing or stocking.

  6. I was at the cvs at olive and 170 this morning and yes the cashiers were quiet and they were professional. I don't need to have a cashier be extra personal to me if they don't want to. Had to many be the exact opposite--rude and suspicious. Cvs so far has had at the minimum professional cashiers, that's enough for me.
