A few additional comments for what is going on with Walgreens sales this week. See this week's Deals and coupon match-ups HERE.
- Scotch Packaging Tape - This coupon is beeping for everyone. Even though the wording on the coupon says buy (1), the coupon is coded to buy (2). Best to use this coupon with a cashier you know is coupon friendly and will enter the coupon manually.
- Check you coupon stash - If you got the Have You Tried This Yet? coupon booklet from P&G, there are some coupons in it you might want to use this week at Walgreens. $5/1 off Gillette ProGlide Razor, $2/1 off Pantene, and $2/1 Pampers. (Thanks, pixie_bit and Emily!)

I had problems finding the Crayola Wonders to go sets... anyone else?
I was going to post this yesterday, but forgot - at my wags, the color wonder sets in the ad are NOT in the art/office section with other Crayola products. They are in the Toy aisle, shoved at the bottom of the clearance section, and they started out unmarked, but did finally get a little tag. They are a bit smaller than you may be expecting as well - probably 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheets.

ReplyDeleteI too found the Crayola Wonders in the toy aisle. The were hanging on a hook with regular price of $1.99. No sale tag at my store either.
This may have been in the ad. I had to just run in and grab my newspapers and run out, I haven't even opened the ad yet! But I got this notice with my reciept.

The only Crayola Wonders I've seen are the large $9.99 packages.

ReplyDeleteHi CJ - I found Crayola Wonders at my store but the weren't easy to find. The packaes on sale normally retail for $1.99 and the ones I saw were on a hook mixed in with other $1.99 Crayola products. Hope you find some.
I have tried two stores now and no crayola wonders - there is a bunch of crayola stuff, just not the small on-the-go items that are supposed to be on sale. :(
ReplyDeleteNexcare bandaids were on an aisle end cap at my wags - all packs had a try me free rebate form peelie. You could try all 3 varieties and mail in 3 UPCs on 1 form for a max household rebate of $11.97. Selling price is $3.99 and there was a coupon in Sunday's paper for $.55/1. For those patient enough to wait for a rebate, these would be a small money maker.

I found the color wonder in the Easter aisle on a bottom shelf with he help of a BA.

Staci, let me know if you don't find them - look under pixie_bit's trade list. I will try to get to my wags and get another couple of boxes and send you one of the rebate forms (I am not going to peel the boxes, you only need one rebate form for up to 3 boxes).
