  1. According to the ad it looks as if the $5RR for buying $20 worth of Pampers can only be used to purchase more Pampers.

  2. Thanks, KC! You wouldn't believe from what I do at time, but I have take that "Read Everything Before You Begin" test. It looks like I didn't learn my lesson.

Hershey's now Pampers are requiring you buy more of their products with RR. How interesting. They are much more savy with how RR can be used.

  3. I recently rcvd a P&G booklet in the mail - from a Have You Tried This Yet sign up or something - it had a $5/1 coupon for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide, making that $.99 after RR if you got that booklet.
Also, went to Wags this am to do a last minute purchase and noticed a display for Burt's Bee's lip items, with a new Tinted Lip Balm. It had little booklets that have $1/1 MC coupons witha Walgreens logo on them. You may want to keep an eye our for them, but they expire 3/15, so you will have to use them fast.

  4. You have the most complete Wags deals listing that I've found. I check it every week, and I especially like the $5 deals. Keep up the good work!

  5. I second what pixie_bit said above about the Fusion Pro Glide. I have the same coupon.

In that same coupon book (which just arrived in my mail yesterday), there is also a coupon for $2 off any Pantene, which is a very high value coupon for Pantene. Works great with this week's RR deal.

  6. Hi pixie_bit! Thanks for the heads up on the Q! Did you mean to say, "expires 4/15?"

Also, there is a $2 Pampers Q in that same booklet. I have no idea where or when I signed up for it, but glad I have it! =)

I would love to know what, if any, requirements there are for the future Pampers purchase. If it is off any with no minimum requirement, may be worth it, especially if it can be paired with the infant book Q.

  7. Hi All - Thanks for the additional coupon info.

Staci - I quess we will know tomorrow what the requirements are on the Pampers RR. I hope someone reports in. I'm long past the diaper stage - thank goodness!

    Thanks, Weird Frugal Mom!

  9. Actually my Gillette Fusion Q expires 5/31/11 - I think I had a number transposition in my mind, followed by a date failure...:P There were actaully quite a few applicable Qs in that book. Also have some from a promo booklet that came in Duracell battery big packs and Charmin megapacks that were bought at CVS during a Buy $30 get $10 EB sale that ran recently if anyone else took advantage of that offer...
I have kind of a general question I've been wondering for a while, but it applies double this week - When Wags runs a B1G1 50% off sale, is it cancelled out by using a B1G1 Q. For example, both Old Spice and Gillette are B1G1 50% this week at Wags - both sent B1G1 Free Qs in the paper. If items are $4 each, and you bought 2, would your end total using a B1G1 Free Q during the B1G1 50% off sale be $4 (Q cancelled sale) or $2 (sale applied as well as Q). I am assuming it is cancelling since both apply to the second items, which is why I have never tried...

  10. Hi pixie_bit - Good question, and I don't know the answer.

I think it will depend how the 50% off item rings up, if it's deducted when it rings up or at the end of the receipt. I haven't shopped Wags B1G1 50% off often enough to know if it always happens the same way.

If you use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 50% off sale, you cashier is likely to pick up the 50% off price for you free item. So in your example, I think you would pay $4 for (2) item.

If you give this a try, let us know what happened.

  11. pixie_bit, I haven't tried that "deal" because I want to get both items FREE after the Q. ;) But then, I think on this case, it will be up to your cashier how much you'll end up paying. If he will enter the $4 (full amount) or the $2 (50% amount) when he scanned the B1G1Q. :I

But then again, I have noticed that on a B1G1 sale at Wags, the "G1" full amount is deducted at the very end of the receipt with the rest of the Qs amount. So, the cashier doesn't see it as "O" when he is looking for the amount to enter on the B1G1 Q. I don't know if on the B1G150% off is programmed the same way though. :I

  14. Tampax Pearl Tampons (36 to 40 ct) - $6.99
    Get a $2 Register Reward (P&G)
    $2 - 4/03/11 P&G
Final cost: $2.99 after coupon and RR
Went today to do this deal and the $2.00 RR didnt print. The mamnager told me because I used a coupon they couldnt give me the RR because it was like "almost getting the item for free" to me getting something for $2.99 thats not close to free but whatever. This is the same Walgreens that ALWAYS gives me an issue so I wont be going back (route 37 in Toms River)

  15. Hi Stacey - No matter what the manager tells you, the numbrer of coupons you use has nothing to do with if a RR prints or not. If I were you I would return the Tampax and then repurchase them at a different store.

Some Walgrens are good to shop at and some not. It all depends on if the Manager is willing to fix the problems when a RR doesn't print. It could be as simple as the machine out of paper.

  16. Hi All,

I did the Pamper deal at Wags and rec'd the $5 off my next Pampers purchase. I asked Valerie w/SNS about using this one at SNS and got the good to go since it is a MQ. Soooo I am going to use it at SNS on the big box $19.98 -$5 MQ=$14.98 and rec. the $5 P&G Cat back-this will be a test since the diapers are $19.98 but in the past they have still qualified for the cat to print even tho they are 2 cents short. Will report back in later.

  18. Good Afternoon at All,

I did do the Pampers only at SNS and Did Not rec the $5 PG Cat only a -$5 off Pampers products over $5. So I added in a can of Pringles to make it $22.41 w/tax -$5 Pampers MQ from Wags =$17.41 for the 82 ct sz 4 box and a can of Pringles and rec'd back the $5 PG Cat and another -$5 off any Pampers products over $5.

At Wags I had to buy 2 pks sz 4 31 ct and 1 pk of wipes for $21.87 w/tax -$7 in coupons to get only the -$5 off Pampers products over $5.

Soooo which was the better deal?

    LMK what you think =)

  19. Hi Janet - Is this a quiz? I'm too far past the diaper stage, and hopefully as far away from being a grandparent to even think about it. But, I'm sure someone out there can do the mental math.

  20. Hi Jeri,

You know I have been havin' so much fun this week shopping/working/playing I just had to throw some more thinkin' into the mix. I think I liked the deal at SNS better. =)
