    1. Does anyone know what time on Friday they will start tripling. Will it be right at midnight or is it normally a few houses until the computer resets itself.

      1. All Dierbergs close by midnight, so you won't be able to take advantage of triple coupons until the store opens on Friday morning, usually between 5 and 6 am.--Kate G.

      2. Hahahahaha. I guess I'm never out late enough to notice that they close. LOL

      3. Sabrina,

I, sadly, am often hitting the stores late! And many Dierbergs close at 10 or 11 pm on Sunday nights, so make sure to hit those early!--Kate G.

    2. My 8-year-old son came home from a trip to the store with Daddy with $1/2 Poweraid tear pad coupons. I've been teaching him well :) He's excited about getting 9 cent Poweraid.

    3. Is the math on the Betty Crocker cake mix correct? I understand the .58 but I don't see how it would be free on triples days since an .85 coupon wouldn't triple, right?

      1. Yeah... that math doesn't add up. There used to be a .75/2 printable on coupons.com that would make them free during the triples days, but I don't think it's available anymore.

    4. Does anyone know if the "free hamburger/hot dog buns w/ $10 purchase" applies before or after coupons? It's the August Week 3 Bonus Deal coupon that was in their ad at the first of the month.
      Thanks!

      1. When they first started those coupons, I still got the free item as long as my pre-coupon amount was $10 or more. The first August one (tomatoes) I spent just over $10 pre-coupon and pre-tax, handed over the free tomatoes coupon and it adjusted the price to free, but as my other manufacturer and Dierbergs coupons were scanned, the free tomatoes coupon disappeared and showed the regular price. The cashier was confused and didn't know what to do, so I said I'd just go to customer service, which I did and it was corrected (got my free tomatoes). So then I was thinking that the rules changed to be $10 post-coupons, but thinking about it more, I bet it's $10 post-Dierbergs coupons but pre-manufacturer coupons, because the Dierbergs coupons actually adjust the item price, not deduct from the total (if that makes sense).
Sorry so long! Hope that helps!

      1. It was in the ad that came in the mail around the first of the month. There was a half-cover on it that was full of August store coupons - some that last all month, and some weekly deals. They did it back in July, too, but my copy had been mauled by some beast (or the sorting machine at the post office) on its way to my mailbox, so I only got a few coupons out of that one... (It says only valid at the Lakeview Pointe, Florissant, Wentzville, Lemay and Des Peres locations)

        Delete
      2. My ad would have been for that area. Thanks for the info. West County stores get Jack's pizza's for $1.88 this week plus there is a cat out there. Will make for a good deal.

      3. Would not...sorry

    6. I bought 4 Nature Valley granola bars and out popped a $2 Catalina. That makes those a GREAT deal. Online it says 3 produce a $1 Catalina and 5 produce a $3 Catalina.

      1. awesome! Do you know if the Nature Valley Oatmeal Squares are included?

        Delete
      2. My store (Brentwood) did not seem to carry the "Nature Valley soft-baked Oatmeal squares", but my recollection from 6 am this morning is that all the NV bar products they carry were included.

        Delete
      3. The NV Oatmeal Squares are included for the catalina.

        Delete
      4. Great news! I think my kids will love those for breakfast. Does anyone know if the instant savings will stack? I'm thinking 5 nature valley (2 different varieties/coupons) and 3 fiber one... get $3 cat and $4 instant savings. Might be too good to be true.

        Delete
      5. Yes, they will stack. I got 6 cake mixes and 2 veggie chips (all free!) this morning with no problems. And, the catalina should shoot out regardless of the total price.

      6. I know the GM stacks at least 3 high. I bought 12 products and got it (which is nice because then you get up to 10 to get the 50 box tops). Also, the Green Giant veggies (the steamers with the coupon) were also included in the GM instant savings. It makes those a really good deal.

        Delete
      7. Has anyone found the NV Oatmeal squares in stock?

        Delete
      8. How does the Green Giant Veggies work with the GM instant savings? Do you buy 3 GG veggies and 1 other item together? TIA

        Delete
      9. Yes, I actually bought 6 of the veggies (plus 8 other GM items) and was surprised when the savings came off a third time for the veggies, but you could buy 3 of the veggies and any other item in the box. As someone else said, I also had problems with my instant savings coming off with the fruit snacks, so I would avoid getting those with the veggies. Since the veggies aren't in the ad, you might have problems getting CS to fix it.

      10. I went to three stores. Two were out of the NV Oatmeal squares and one had ample supply... Ellisville(Clayton and Clarkson). I'll be stopping back in there tomorrow. Those are quite tasty and will work great for the kids breakfast on the mornings they're running late. If they're really hungry they can have a gogurt to go with it :)

      11. Warson Woods had some NV oatmeal squares today, not on shelves but a taste-tester lady had a stack. I had an AWESOME experience at Warson Woods in Glendale/Rock Hill on Manchester today, DB is really stepping it up to keep up with Schnucks!

    8. Mario also makes bacon bits / pieces, so you can also use the Mario coupon on those as well. I believe they are $2.12 for a small bag, before coupon. Decent price I think. They are located by the salad dressings and croutons.

      1. I didn't it with buying only 4. =(

        Delete
      2. I didn't get it with 4 either. Did anyone else that did, buy another Yoplait product? I googled the catalina and it looks like other blogs in other parts of the country are reporting the catalina wyb $10 worth of yoplait. I think I will try it again with buying 6. I did get the instant GM savings on the Yoplait, so I will buy 2 other GM products as well.

        Delete
      3. Interesting. I didn't get the instant GM saving on the yoplait and no $2 catalina on buying 4.

        Delete
      4. I wonder if the catalina could have ended yesterday? Has anyone received it today?

        Delete
      5. I have tried googling this without much luck, but did see an expired deal with spending $10. Maybe you need to hit that threshold to get the Catalina.

        Delete
      6. This is the info I found on 2 different blogs (neither local):

        Yoplait Refrigerated Yogurt Catalina
        Effective 8/12 to 9/8
Buy $10 or more and get a $2 on your next order Catalina

I am hoping to try it tomorrow. If anyone finds anything out before then, please post.

      1. Wait - I did the math wrong on that - they are free after the triple.

    12. I did two transactions today. In one, I bought 6 gogurt and in the second I bought 4. The transaction with 4 still produced the $2 catalina. I was so excited as my child would eat gogurt for every meal of the day if I let her.

I also noticed my Nature Valley and Fiber One items were ringing up strangely. On the receipt, two items would show $2.50 and two would show $.50 as the final price. I'm not sure what happened there but the final price for all 4 was $6 before coupons (not $7.98 as advertised) and I was able to use all my coupons without issue.

All and all, a great day at Dierbergs!

      ReplyDelete
      Replies
      1. Mine did that too, except the Betty Crocker fruit snacks didn't give me the $2 discount for buying 4. I'm not complaining though since my average cost per item was 37 cents! No coupon trouble at all! And, I love that my cashier made sure she was doing everything right! It may have taken a little longer, but I don't mind. Love triple coupons! I have saved over $150 the last few days! If only I could find a place to put everything...

        Delete
      2. Mine didn't come out that way. My Fiber One items were stil1 4 for $10. But the Nature Valley did come out as 4 for $6. I think something else is going on. Some other items are triggering the $2 off but got attached to either the Fiber One or Nature Valley.

        Delete
      3. Some of the Fiber One's were priced differently. On the shelf, most said 4/$7.98 but there were a few that said something different, which I thought was strange. It might have been the fiber one chewy bars protein, the ones that are chocolate coated? --

        Delete
      4. The fruit snacks are ringing up correct. The $2 instant saving just got attached to another item instead of the fruit snacks. That's why people are reporting Fiber one being 4/$6 or Nature Valley being 4/$6. They are still 4/$8, just got other products' instant savings attached to them instead. My $2 instant savings for Yoplait and $2 instant savings for Green Giant Chips and $2 instant savings for Green Giant Steamer veggie were all attached to Fiber One. So, all 4 boxes of my Fiber One rang up as $0.50! That didn't mean I got 4 boxes of Fiber One for $2. Just all 4 instant savings are applied to the Fiber One boxes. So, there is no need to go to CS. Just add up your total and you will see that you paid the correct amount.

    13. I just got back from a few dierbergs. I had problems at the first two but the customer service/ managers took care of it for me. The chex mix/bugles/ghardetto's didn't come off for me at either. It was run up on the reciept that it took me forever to figure out where it went wrong. Both the customer service lady and the manager were baffled. I hope they get that problem fixed soon so I can spend the rest of my coupons without a hassle.

I bought 5 kids yogurts (4 simply gogurt and 1 kids yoplait 4 pk). I got the $2 catalina I was expecting, but also was surprised that it triggered the $2 instant savings as well. I didn't know that was included. It seems all of the coupons were tripling even if it exceeded the item value. Thank you Dierbergs.

    14. As of about 8-8:30am, Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are gone at Heritage and West Oak. At Heritage I was told they won't get any more until Monday which is too late for triples...
I did try a third location: Four Season and they had probably a dozen boxes of this specific kind left. Happy tripling everyone :)

    15. I was at Dierbergs this morning getting some fabulous deals when I kept finding photocopied coupons left on the shelf by a previous customer.

People, please don't photocopy coupons. It's illegal and it gives the rest of us trying to coupon ethically and legally a harder time to do so.

For the honest among us, if you see a photocopied coupon in the store, do what I did and crumple it up and throw it away. I would hate for the casual shopper to pick it up and get in trouble. Let's not let a few bad apples spoil this all for us.

    16. I had terrible time at Deirbergs today...the instant savings was super convoluted on the receipt. The CM kept telling me, though she didn't understand either, that it "all worked out". With 2 tired and unhappy kids, I had to leave it unresolved - despite that one of my Green Giant Steamers rang up at $3.50! I did a few GM deals on Fri with no problems and a clear indication of the $2 discounts. Very frustrating! Eve

      1. Anonymous,

I share your pain. I went tonight and bought 6 Yoplaits and 2 cake mixes. I expected a $2 Catalina to print since I had $12 of Yoplait products. However, the receipt listed 4 at the correct $2 each and the other two as $0. Therefore, the register did not see my purchase as $12, but rather $8. Thus no Catalina. The cashier could not understand why I was not happy.

      2. I never even thought about the $0 messing things up. Trying to decide if I try to unravel the receipt (maybe just to prove to myself that I wasn't crazy) or just move on. Most annoying was fact I spent all Sat morning planning trip...and ended up paying nearly $16 for what should have been close to $5.

Maybe I misunderstood that the steamers and yoplait were triggering $2 off if in groups of $4?

      4. The CS is correct that it all worked out in the end. The $2 instant saving is strange. It got attached to different items than it is supposed to be. Example, one said that the Green Giant is $3.50, but there is also one at -$0.5. So, it evens out to be $1.50 each (2 for $3). All my receipts are messed up. But it DID all work out correctly! I had one where 3 Yoplait rang up as $0 but one rang up as $4 and one rang up as $6. So, for 5 Yoplait, I still paid $10.

    17. I went this morning and bought 6 Yoplait (2 Simply gogurt and 4 kids dora yogurt) and 2 Fiber One bars. I got the $2 Yoplait catalina and $4 instant savings for buying 8 items. It is strange how every store seems to be doing things differently.

    18. Does anyone have the upc code to Bounty Basic single 1ct roll? Also, I'm having a hard time finding this single roll at Schnucks. If anyone knows what store has them I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks
