June 29, 2009

Great prices on 4th of July fruit this week this week at Aldi. I always think of those gorgeous desserts with strawberries and blueberries when I think of the 4th. I should make one this year, since I can get the fruit for such a good price.

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons.

  1. Is there an Aldi store at Gravois Ave., Ms. Jeri? Just want to make sure that there is one over there before we go there because on their site they still have one at Lemay but it has been closed for sometime now. Thanks a lot. Oh, Aldi stores close at 8pm?!? :I

  2. Yes, the store on Gravois is almost to Kingshighway. I'm not sure what is going on with their Lemay store. The building is torn down, I think they might be rebuilding on the same site.
