  1. I am going to be getting about $15.00 worth of chicken breasts so now I am debating going to Twin Oaks and doing the $10/$50!
This is good week for deals but alot of work planning!

  2. Are the hefty trash bags a good deal at 5.99 with $2 coupon from this past sunday? I don't know what the stock up price typically is per bag.

  3. Lisa, I saw Hefty trash bags in ad also, but didn't know if it was a good price or not.

I try not to use too many trash bags. We recycle what we can, use plastic grocery bags where we can, and when I purchase trash bags, I buy Ruffies brand at Target. Lots of bags for a small price.

Can anyone help us out here? What is a good stock up price on trash bags?

  5. Sorry for the double post - but blogger is having an issue posting it seems.

Can you use the Schnucks buy 2, get free pasta coupon with a 1.00 off 2 ragu coupon? Cashier said no to me the other day. Both say manufacturer, but I read about people that buy kraft cheese, use coupons, then use a buy kraft cheese, get XX off produce -- granted this isn't at schnucks, but it is the only one that is coming to my mind right now. Any thoughts? I want to do the right thing, but I can't tell if the cashier is making up their own policy or what?

  6. I don't think I've ever used coupons in the situation you described at Schnucks, but I know I have at SNS. I would think you should be able to use what you described at Schnucks.

Did you go to Customer Service and ask? I have no problem wheeling my cart over to Customer Service if I think a cashier hasn't done what they should of. I've even sent a cranky clerk there to ask herself when there wasn't a line behind me at check out.

I've also been very pleased when I have called Schnucks Consumer Affairs 314-994-4400.

Keep us posted if you find out any additional information.
