I am going to try and keep my budget at $40 a week now that my oldest left for college. I wasn't sure if it was doable, but I was pleased with how much I was able to buy this week for $40.
Schnucks

I picked up the Steamfresh vegetables on Sunday since they were still on sale, and the coupon for them came out in the paper. And I drove out to the Twin Oaks store to take advantage of them matching Shop 'n Save's $10 off $50 Thursday deal. Since I had $3.50 coupons for Wanchai Ferry frozen meals, this week I thought it was worth my time and gas money.

Shop 'n Save

My goal is to spend less than $10 per Thursday shopping trip at Shop 'n Save, but I didn't have a Catalina coupon to use, so I couldn't reach my goal. Next week, I'll start with a $5 Catalina.

Sappington Farmers' Market & Johnny's Market

I picked up apples at Johnny's and used the $1 off $3 produce coupon. What a great deal, 6lbs. of apples for $2.18.

Your Schnucks photo reminded me that they sell Buddies. My Target has been out of them for over a month. I'll get them at Schnucks instead!
ReplyDeleteDo they take coupons at Sappington Market?
ReplyDeleteYes, Sappington Market accepts coupons. They don't double any coupon. If I remember correctly, they take internet pintable coupon too.
