Coupon Preview 11/29/09

Usually on holiday weekends, there are no coupon inserts in the Sunday papers, but this Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch has one coupon insert - Proctor & Gamble. And the Parade magazine has a $2 coupon on any (1) Huggies Diapers, 48 ct. or larger.

Some of my favorite coupons this week:

FREE Olay Body Lotion when you buy Olay Body Wash
$4 on any (1) Gillette Fusion Razor
$3.50 on any (1) Febreze Flameless Luminary Starter Kit
$2 on any (1) size Prilosec OTC
$2 on any (1) Febreze Candle
$2 on any Pampers Swaddlers, Cruisers or Extra Protection Diapers
$1.50 on any (1) NyQuil or DayQuil Product
$1.50 on any Papers Diapers or Pants
$1 on (1) Gillette Deodorant
$1 on (1) Gillette Shampoo, Conditioner or Styler
$1 on (1) Gillette Shave Prep Product
$1 on (1) Gillette Body Wash
$1 on any (1) Febreze Air Effects
$1 on (1) Oral B Floss Picks, 45 ct or larger (Use this coming week at Waglreens for free picks)
.25 on any (1) Bounty Towels or Napkins (Wait until Dierbergs puts Bounty on sale for $1)

Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$ and Dollar Tree sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And they usually still have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ or Dollar Tree closest to you.

  1. I grabbed one of those $1.50 'turkey' (Thursday) papers to use an RR and be able to view the BF ads later. What a joke, especially when I found later three re-cycle boxes where carriers dropped off those ads from the Journal and the Post-Dispatch. I'm a little worry the clowns at Lee Enterprise might soon increase the price of the Sunday editions.

  2. A reminder to all, don't rest on your laurels. You have today and Monday to match up MQ expiring on the (Nov) 30th with products on sale. Luckily, the do not expire MQ have become a rarity and I have not used any in a couple of years.

  3. Hi kas,

I was really surprised with $1.50 price on the "turkey" paper. (love that name) Since I was a kid, I love reading the newpaper. There is something about having that huge piece of paper infront of you, but anymore it's hard to find anything to read in the Post-Dispatch.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lee raised the price of the paper. $1.50 for the Sunday paper is on the low end of Sunday paper prices.
