The cranberries were FREE at Sappington Farmers' Market with the peelie coupon I had from Ocean Spray juice. Johnny's tends to put pork tenderloin on sale for $1.99 lb. about every six weeks. I make the special trip to take advantage of this price.Comparable Schnucks price: $27.04

Great job, especially at SNS! I wish I could do $10 Thursdays but my store is such a zoo, it isn't worth the stress, and if I get there after work a lot of items are completely gone.
ReplyDeleteCJ - Thanks, I agree, SNS is not the place to be afterwork. I have a friend that shops at midnight and other readers tell me they run to SNS on their lunch hour. SNS has great deals, but they don't make it easy for everyone.

ReplyDeleteFOR those of you feeling as you do about Shop and Save...call the main corporation number and ask to speak to Meredith. Tell her your concerns...I did last week about the shortage of sale items with Catalinas..and she assured me that they had just had a meeting and were working to improve the situation.
