At my Schnucks at Jungermann and 94 there is a good deal in the alcohol aisle. We found a $10 mail in rebate on several different bottles of premixed drinks. We got the Jose Cuervo golden margarita mix which is usuall $23 (I think) on sale for 17.99 - $10 MIR = 7.99! This is a super good deal on the good stuff! I know the deal also included the long island ice tea mix, which we love.

ReplyDeleteHas anyone checked their receipts from Schnucks lately? I was at both the Schnucks in Wentzville and Lake Saint Louis yesterday. I discovered that neither store is charging tax on coupon items. Has this problem been fixed recently? Or could it just be a fluke with the coupons I used? About a week ago - both stores were charging tax on coupons ie Solo Cups.

ReplyDeleteReaders came to the conclusion that Schnucks was charging tax on the value of non-food coupons, but the value of coupons for food items were not taxed.
Hopefully they have the problem fixed.

I wasn't charged tax when I bought 10 Solo cups last week at Mid Rivers/Hwy N location. I also bought food... but my tax was really low.
