Super Savers at Shop 'n Save

It sounds like lots of people had great shopping trips to Shop 'n Save this week. Several readers emailed me pictures of their purchases to share.

Edit: Rhonda sent pictures of her receipts. Click on the picture to take a closer look.

I feel like my percentage of savings is my "grade". Rhonda earned a spot on the "Deans List" with a 4.0!

Marcella's Purchase

"80% savings. Spent $34.94. Saved $125.44. Won't need to buy coke for over a year and I did it with three kids 6 and under...only one of which was restrained in a cart.

I did two trips and had a cooler bag with cold packs in the car for the brats and cool whip. I went back in for round two with my $11 in catalinas. I had to pick up a few things not on super sale just because we needed them.

I have enough now to turn in the Kraft rebate for $10. Woohoo!

  4. Thanks Tiffany and Anonymous for leaving your shopping info. It's always fun to see how great everyone did shopping.

Hi Spice - I think everyone is talking about a Kraft rebate they received by mail.

  5. I did 2 rounds, spent $32.72 and saved $131.50. My total should have been $6 less, wouldn't take my $1/2 Weber. She said they didn't allow free items. I tried to explain, but at 1AM, I just wanted to go home and didn't notice I didn't get the $2 off the soda either.

  6. Hi Judy! You can always go to the CS about the cashier not taking your $1/2 Q if it's not an IPQ and you can also always go to the CS for reimbursement on a coupon you forgot to use on your transaction.

  7. We only received (1) Kraft rebate form in the mail. How do we get more than one? TIA.

  8. judy- 26 boxes of kitten chow? Now I know why I couldnt find 1 box. I love people who clear the shelves!

  9. Not sure why they wouldnt take the $1/2 Weber coupon unless it was a printable. I had no trouble with my free hot dogs and free BBQ sauce coupons, even got $1.00 overage on the hot dogs. I've never had problems there with any non-printable coupon that made an item free.

  10. Hi--All--This is Janet aka "Judy" Jeri must have gotten my name wrong on the pic. Also--ANONYMOUS--I spread my shopping love at 3 different SNS-the kitten chow did not come from only one store--sorry you could not find it at your store-I was lucky to find 10 at one store. Sorry if I might have stepped on any kitty toes--but my kittys love me Also so do the cashiers at all the stores I go to. I share coupons with everyone I see. Have a great weekend to all. Janet

  11. Thanks coupon.girl and CJ! I will take my receipt in.
The Weber coupon was not a printed one, and I didn't want to argue. My daughters used them at a different store and had no problem. The cashier was not in a friendly mood.

Anonymous-I am a different Judy, not the one with the pictured savings.

  12. Hi coupon.girl, I was given one Kraft rebate and I "gasp" won 2 in an auction. Then I found out how to receive them from Kraft and hopefully my package will arrive in time. I have a fav cashier at one of the Wags I visit and I give her rebates-all receipts and everything so she can do them also. I will have one extra form to "pass out". I am able to do rebates in my name and my moms. HTH

  14. Almost everyone on this site is so nice and shares such great information! Let's keep things positive and not judge what others purchase.

  15. Why does anyone need 20 boxes of Ritz crackerfuls and 15 tubs of Cool Whip? I'm all for stocking up, but don't take more than you need. There are others that want to be able to score good deals too!

  16. I couldn't have said it better, Maureen. I can think of a million reason why someone might NEED the quantitiy of products they bought.

The bigger problem is SNS not stocking very many of the good sale items.

  17. Another thing - sometimes the SNS floor workers have no idea th item is out. I got the last 2 Cool Whip and then it was completely out on my first trip at 12noon. I saw the floor worker and asked if they had some in back - he was shocked it was out and very fast came out with several more cases and completely restocked.

  18. Thanks, Andrea for reminding us all to ask if they are out of an item in the store if they have more in the back.
