  1. Hi!

Where do you get your information on the Catalina deals?

  2. Hi Kathy - This week Schnucks had the Clorox and Kraft Catalina deals in their weekly ad.

Other than the ad, you will find some on CouponNetwork.com, some advertised on the shelf with the product or sometimes you will get a printed advertisment from the Cat machine about a current or upcoming deal.

  3. Ugh, why is cereal so expensive now?! I'm limited on what I can buy anyway since we can't have wheat and then they are all pricey now! Makes me wish I could rewind to last year when it seemed like everything was cheaper!

  4. Jeri - Do you know if the Kraft cheese with a touch of philly is included in the sale price/catalina? TIA!

  5. Dumb question ...
If i get 15 bottles of KC and $30 in pork rib slabs (which would be about 2 packages) can I use 15 of the $2 off coupons? Or do I need 15 packages of pork ribs (which would awesome, in terms of tastyness, not savings).

  6. Anybody know if the $1 KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce coupon from 5/15/11 SS was NOT in the Post. I looked 3 times and didn't see it in that coupon section. Thanks.

  7. Hi All

Marcella - I think we were spoiled with "cereal wars" last summer. And I agree, prices are skyhigh this summer.

gspice6 - I don't know if Touch of Philly is included in the Cat. I think the only way to find out is for someone to give it a test.

bbgradio - I think you would need to buy 15 packages of ribs. If you do invite us to the BBQ :)

John - KC Masterpiece BBQ coupon was in all (6) of the 5/15 SS from the Post-Dispatch I picked up. ITS On the same page as Sunsweet Prunes coupon. I hope you find it.

  8. I have a silly question. If i have a coupon for 50cents, they will only double 40cents so do I get 80 cents off ? I dont usually shop there.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi Anonymous - I don't consider any quesiton silly. We were all newbies at one time.

Schnucks & Dierbergs both double coupon up to and including $0.40

    $0.40 coupon = $0.80 deducted from total
    $0.50 coupon = $0.50 deducted from total

Anything over $0.40 gets deducted as it's face value.

  10. Question anyone know how much the kraft natural slices are? Thanks!

  11. Schnucks prices seem to have gone up on a lot of items (milk, yogurt, cheese) It's really getting tough to stick to my tight budget, even with coupons. :( I assumed the "peace of mind" pricing meant prices stayed the same. Nope. They have gone up. Especially on milk. $3.99 a gallon for 2%. Yikes. I refuse to pay that!

  12. Anon, that's exactly why I buy milk at Aldi!!

  13. If you haven't checked Moore Food Distributors on Page, you might want to. They have an upfront market and sell produce, milk, eggs, and a variety of other items that are hard to find coupons for. Average milk prices are around $3 a gallon and it is high quality milk from a local dairy. They also sell bulk products at discounted rates including frozen chicken, foods, etc. Worth a stop in. I have purchased produce items, milk, eggs, and bread there for unbelievable prices!

  14. Hi All - I agree prices have skyrocketed the past few months. I'm like Shannon and get my dairy products at Aldi. They have gone up some, but not like the other grocery stores.

Anne - Thanks for the info on Moore Food Distributors. They sound like a great option.

  15. Did any one else's Schnucks not have signs up about the Kraft Catalina? It was all just a guessing game for me as to what would work. I spent a little over the $15 and got the $5 cat. I pretty much just stuck to the products in the ad, but would have preferred something other than plain Ritz crackers. Also, my Schnucks does not seem to carry the Natural Slices that go with the coupon.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hii Anonymous - I didn't shop for Kraft items, so don't know about signage for that Cat, but my store had signs up for all the products included in the Clorox Cat. If there is not additional info it's best to stick with what's listed in the ad.

  17. Anon and Jeri, the Ladue Crossing schnucks actually has full page fliers up at the entrance, but not shelf tags. Jeri's list almost exactly matches the flier I picked up. It does not list Cracker cuts, but it does include 30 oz Mayo.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Does anyone know if the Kraft Cat includes the Cheese with Philly?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sarah, my flier says "Kraft 8 oz Natural Shredded Cheese (all varieties)"

    ReplyDelete
  20. Update! Yes, the Durkees are also $1. I just did my schnucks run. I got $55 for $30 oop + 11 back in cats. Does anyone know if either of the cats roll?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well crud, Mayo was one thing I was hoping would have been included (I'm almost out) but didn't want to risk it since it wasn't in the ad.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anonymous,

mayo will be included in next weeks ad in SNS buy 10 products get 5 back
