FREE Schick Razors at Target

Pick up FREE Schick Hydro Razors at Target when you combine the Schick manufacturer and Target coupon.

Schick Hydro 3 - $6.99
or Schick Hydro 5 - $7.99
use $5 manufacturer coupon - 6/13/10 SS
and use $4 Target coupon - 6/20/10 SS
Final price: FREE or better

You might end up with overage depending how your Target or cashier handles these coupon. Make sure you are purchasing other merchandise to cover the possible overage.

Thanks, Stephanie!

  1. Can we talk about what order to hand the coupon to the cashier-- target first or manufacturer first, especially when there is an overage issue?

  2. I think, manufacturer's coupon first because on the receipt, the Target coupon will bring down/adjust down the price of the item so when you hand the Man. coupon by then and it's over the price of the "brought down price", it will beep and say something on the register's screen. Hope this makes sense. :)

  3. Hi couponmama - I agree with coupon.girl. At every place I shop, I hand the manufacturer coupon over to the cashier before the store coupons. It always seem to work out the best with this order.

I never give a cashier all my coupons at one time. I'll only give them in groups of 5 or so, so I can follow and count if they are all coming off my bill.

  4. Jeri,
I used to give a stack of coupons all at once, before I started to see it got screwed up every time. I now hand over one coupon at a time. The only thing that sometimes throws it off is if a cashier, sometimes a well meaning one at Walgreens, realizes there is a store coupon and will just go ahead and scan the store coupon for me before I can stop her. LOL.

  5. couponmama, I'm still laughing at your story about your husband's coming home with 16 Sunday papers. Couldn't take it off my mind. The most no. of papers I asked my hubby to buy is 4 and he got "this look" on his face when he got home. :) I guess your husband's face had 4 times more of "that look". hahaha :)

  6. I learned the hard way to only hand them a few at a time.... Especially if you have printed ones. They seem to want to stick together!!!

  7. Can was use the rebate with this also???

  8. Stephanie - you can use the rebate with it but the check will be minus any coupons used. So if you use a $5 manufacturers coupon and a $4 Target coupon, I doubt you will get any amount back, if they see that $9 worth of coupons were used.

  9. Coupon.girl-- Man, I think we are two peas in a pod, and our husbands must be very similar. My husband CANNOT follow coupon instructions to save his life...

I sent him to Dierbergs to get the GM cereals and BC fruit snacks. I picked out the cereals and snacks, separated them in his cart, and handed him to separate stacks of coupons. I said very specifically-- buy the fruit snacks first, get a coupon from the magic coupon machine for $2.50, use that coupon on your next transaction when you buy the cereal. Of course, he buys the cereal first. *rolls eyes* THEN, I get home and look at his receipt and he must not have even given the coupons for the fruit snacks b/c they didn't come off the receipt. Sigh....

If I didn't know that my husband is a total doofus at all things practical, I would swear that he intentionally messes these things up so that I won't victimize him into double-dipping with me at the stores in the future.

The funny thing is, my parents were in town, and I sent my dad to the store too. Him and my mom don't get very good deals on cereal where they live so I gave them coupons and told my dad how to do the deal. He heard the very same instructions as my husband and managed to get it perfectly right. LOL

I think the only thing my husband likes about my couponing is the money in our bank account :)

  10. coupon.girl and couponmama - How long have you been couponing?

My DH was just like yours. Made fun of my "hoarding", wouldn't stand in line with me at the store b/c of my stack of Qs, etc.

He still can't do transactions that require very much thought, BUT now he brings home tearpad Qs for me. AND wants to know how I did when I get home. He defends me when there are issues and I joked that I couldn't keep up (I was really busy a few weeks ago) and he said "Don't cut out the coupons!"

It gets better with time - they will catch on if it kills us ; )

  11. On the subject of husbands, I've found a benifit of my husband beign so clueless when it comes to coupons. Sometimes I have him read through a deal I'm writing about (such as Target's SoBe) and if he can understand what I'm writing then I know any new couponer will surely understand.
