  1. I had coupons for $1.50 off those items but nothing for free. $1.50 off isn't bad though.

  3. I also had the $1.50 coupons. It isn't bad, but I was not able to use any at SNS b/c of the higher value. She wouldn't even adjust them to 1/2 of price.....

I wish for = One day I will get the Free coupons....

  4. I check several times a week hoping my $ off coupons will have turned into freebies but they havent. Like Andrea said the high value makes them difficult to use at SNS. Even at $1.00-$1.50 it's not a good enough deal for me.

  7. I feel bad when I get the good coupons and other don't.

For those that have had a problem with SNS or Dierbergs accepting high value printable, have you ever stopped and asked to talk to the manager before you shopped.

I've had good success asking to speak to the manager before I shop and explaining to them exactly where I obtained the coupon (manf. facebook page, manf webstie, ect) and asked if he would accept the coupon it at his store.

The "rule" is in place to protect the store from fraudulent coupons, but the manager also wants your business.

  8. Unfortunately, the SNS I frequent, the Mgr could care less about my business. I have had issues with him for awhile now. I ended up having to talk with the main Customer Service to get clarification on the coupon acceptance rules. I was correct and she had to call the store Mgr to straighten him out on his interpretations of the rules. Since then, he hasn't been really friendly. (He is not rude, but I know he would rather not deal with me...)

Don't feel bad you got the "free" ones. Since I wished on your blog - I am hoping next time will be me : )

  9. ShopNSave employees usually "freaks out" with internet printable coupon or something that looks like it (like the mailed ones) especially if it's a high value one or for free. Most of the time, I just use mine at Walgreens and Target.

  10. Hi Andrea - Don't give up on that manager.

I went round and round with a Walgreens manager shortly after I started couponing. I left an entire basket at the store and walked out. Came home and called Coporate and the regional office. I didn't shop at his store for a long while.

Now, we are actually quite good friends. He teases me if I haven't run into him for awhile that I'm shopping elsewhere, gives me a few tidbits of what new things are happening at Walgreens and I share what it's like to shop at CVS. Win/win for both of us.
