  2. there are aussie coupons in the 5/16 RP too..I think...

  3. Hi Couponmama & Stephanie - I'm excited about the shampoo too. I'm getting a little low compared to the normal stock.

The Aussie coupon in the Post-Dispatch was for $2 off styling product when you buy shampoo. I hate those that don't work with the RR.

Stephanie, are you in an area of the country that got the $1 off 1?

  4. I found a $2.50 Re-Nu coupon that came from a package. I'm sure it was from the last time these were free after RR. Might want to open up the boxes and check if you have any Re-Nu in storage.

  5. I just got back from Walgreens. They have a twin pack of ReNu for $8.99 and it produces a $7.50 RR. If you have the $2 coupon and there are no more boxes of the singles you can still have a .50 money maker.

I bought a twin pack of contact solution, an HE conditioner and a box of Mike'n'Ikes (pee prizes for a potty training child) and spent .47, brought home $9.50 in RR. My husband says I need to wear my ninja clothes to Walgreens.

  6. My day at Walgreens (I'm loving the S Lindbergh store since it's been remodeled!) - 4 Dew, 2 free Gillette body wash, Clorox bleach, free RePHresh tampons, free Chicken of the Sea salmon, Hershey Bliss and Prairie Farms sour cream. Paid $11 after $24.50 in coupons/RRs and got $13.50 RR back. May get the Re-Nu and Old Spice body wash later in the week. How many bottles of body wash can one person have before becoming a hoarder?

  7. Hey y'all, I am an Army Mom and our church does a lot with homeless people and poor women with kids.

When you get to the point that you can't possibly use more body wash or other products, would you consider donating to the James McDonnell USO or a homeless/battered Women's shelter? In Coupon-ese, you can get a receipt for the donation, which makes it an additional money-maker (if you itemize on your taxes) and a special feeling inside :-D

Thanks so so so so much!!!

    Momma G

  8. I am sooo excited. I sign up for freebies all the time and a about a month ago I got one for the renu sensitive and it had a coupon in it for $4.00 off of 12oz. so I am going to save an extra $2.00... I'm sooooo excited!! Never knew I would be soo excited over $2, but I am! :)

  9. Hi Everyone - I'm impressed with your shopping stories. I ventured out yesterday to Dierbergs, still had a free chip coupon, and Aldi because I was out of milk and called my shopping expidition quits. Way too hot. I'm becoming a "weather whimp."

Momma G - Thanks for the reminder about places to donate extras. Do you have an address of contact for the USO if others are interested.

  11. I think the 3/7/10 SS Renu coupon has expired. Or am I looking at the wrong one? :I

    ReplyDelete
  12. Also, instead of getting 2 body washes, you could use the B1 body wash G1 anti-perspirant/deodorant coupons.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Thanks, Judy! I'll update my post.

Hi Coupon.girl - The one I have expires 6/30. I'm pretty sure it's from the 3/7/10 SS. I don't clip coupon and keep them in a file. But, when the inserts about 3 months old I clip any unexpired and toss the rest. I just threw out the 3/7 insert this last week, but have a $1 Re-Nu coupon in my binder, so I'm fairly confident it's form 3/7.

Hi em - I'm looking at the 6/6 P&G coupon and it says buy Deodorant get Body wash. Is there another coupon I'm not seeing that goes the opposite way?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Found it! Thought the ones I clipped were from the 3/7/10 SS insert. Didn't even check the insert first. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for commenting back soon. :)

Wish there's still Entertainment Book to buy at Wags. Want to exchange my RRs with its coupons. Though I know I shouldn't complain with the freebies, am getting a bit tired of playing the RR game esp. in this so hot weather (though again, I shouldn't complain, other cities are experiencing flood/tornado/worse weather):I

  15. Hi coupon.girl - No problem. I get Walgreens Weary at time too. I'll give RR a rest for awhile, and then something comes up too good to pass up and I'm ready to jump back in.

If I remember correctly, Entertainment Books went on sale at Walgreens sometime last summer after they hadn't been around for awhile. Does anyone else remember it that way, or I'm I just dreaming?

  16. Jeri, sorry I wasn't more specific.

There are coupons in the May and June PG inserts, buy one Old Spice body wash or anti-perspirant/deodorant and get an anti-perspirant/deodorant free.

You are right about the Gillettes. There aren't any that go the other way that I have found.

But you may want to check the prices on the deodorants at Walgreens. If they are on sale for $4.49 like the body wash, you could use the buy one deodorant, get body wash free coupon and get the same results after RR.

I bought Old Spice this morning and the deodorant was on sale for $4.49. Maybe the Gillettes are too, but I didn't check.

  17. The South County YMCA has a collection box for the Army if you are looking for a place to drop off all your freebies. I don't know if any other YMCA branches are doing a collection.

I paid my brother-in-law for watching my kids with free razors and body wash. SCORE!

  18. Update: I went back to Walgreens this afternoon and they have Gillette anti-perspirant/deodorants on sale for $4.49 or $4.99, depending on the variety. You could use the B1G1 coupon, get back the RR for the body wash, and get a body wash and a deodorant free (or for 50 cents).

  19. Thanks, em!

Thanks, Marcella for the drop off location for the Army.

  20. I can't believe I am even saying this but I am sick of Walgreens. I actually for the first time in a year have no RRs and I am so glad. I am so loving CVS. You can do your trips in one and don't have to spend so much gas. They are awesome there and are so happy to see me shop. And I love the 10 off 50 coupons I get. I used 3 of them today.

  21. Renu Sensitive buy 1 get 1 free pack is priced at $8.99 at Chippewa cor Kingshiway Wags. It generated the $7.50 RR also. It should have been priced at $7.49 also since it says on its packaging buy 1 get 1 free but I didn't bother to talk with a manager anymore. Sorry to say, I'm getting tired of dealing with them. :I It was still a good deal. 2 bottles for $0.50MM after $2Q and RR.

I've been stocking up on saline solution for hubby's use. :)

  22. Hi Lynda - It's nice to have another option in town besides Walgreens. I went RR free for a while and it was quite refreshing and pressure free.

Hi coupon.girl - Thanks for the info.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lynda - you said you used 3 $10 off $50 coupons on the same day. Does that mean you bought $150 worth of stuff, or were you able to get $30 off of just $50 by stacking 3 $10 coupons on the same order?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Found at the Kirkwood Walgreens this morning - tearpad rebate sponsored by Heineken for $3 off any purchase of $3.01 or more of mens' grooming products. Now to figure out what constitutes "mens' grooming products". Do you think body wash counts? I have lots of that!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi CJ - Hopefully, Linda will see your question, but if she doesn't, I don't think you can stack the coupon on the same transaction.

I don't have liquor at any of the Walgreens I go to yet. I'm going to have to travel to find the beer rebates. I would imagine body wash would qualify for the rebate, but does the form have an 800 number for you to call and ask?
