The deals were fantastic this week. I shopped on Thursday, so not only did I take advantage of the $10 off $50 Thursday, but used a $5 off $50 coupon from the Entertainment book, and a $5 Catalina from last week's Kraft deal. I had coupons for free 20 oz. Cokes from My Coke Rewards and coupons for free Hormel Bacon bits wyb bagged salad. The best part is I received a $10 Catalina coupon for my Keebler purchase. I got paid to shop!Before sales & coupons: $69.16

This purchase was from last Sunday. I paid $11 after coupons and got back a $10 Catalina.
I turned around with the next transaction and purchased Eckert's peaches with the Catalina I had just received. Paid - 12 cents for this transaction.

For those who don't read my blog on a regular basis, my splurge funds are the difference between what I've actually spent and my $50 budget. I use it for those items I never find on sale or that I don't have coupons for.

ReplyDeleteI wish I had bought more of the cinnabon cereal. I bought 1 box to see if my kids liked it first and they ate the whole box in 1 day. I guess i should have monitored that a little better!

Hi Marcella - Cinnabons have been snarfed down at my house too. Thank goodness school starts next week. My teen has been a non-stop eating machine. I hope this growth spurt is up and not out.
I finally got to the grocery today, my first trip in over a week, and I only got a few things. I forgot to use my $5 catalina at Dierbergs but I did get free cat litter and 2 free Sobes teas. The grocery ads havent had much to attract me the past few weeks :(
