Just back from Brentwood Target. Got free Caesar dog treats (used Target and insert coupons from months ago), a free green pepper, blackberries for $1.49, and croissants for $1.49 (used 2 $1 Archers Farms coupons and 2 $1 produce coupons from Target website). I couldnt find the Five Star portfolios or Post It notes.
ReplyDeleteThe Target circular also had a coupon to receive a $10 gift card with a new or transferred prescription. Made lemonade out of the lemons of my daughter's ear infection. :-)

Jeri - I only got the fresh food at Target since I had Target coupons for it. Without the coupons their prices arent any better than the grocery stores. It's quite a hike from the entrance to the food section and back out. I'd like to think I worked off the croissant I ate in the parking lot but I probably didnt!

ReplyDeleteI've heard grocery stores in other parts of the country are looking at a smaller floor plan model. I personally like the smaller stores. I don't need or want to buy my lawn chair or Christmas tree when I'm shopping for groceries.
The Super WalMart in Fenton has separate entrances for grocery and everything else, thats convenient. I wont go in the new Schnucks in Des Peres, its way too big. I hope the new Dierbergs in Des Peres wont be huge.

ReplyDeleteLook for the small Tide Stain Release powders on clearance. They were 3.34 on Monday at the Town and Country store and with a Target $1.50 coupon (from a mailer) and $1 Manufacturer coupon I got two for less than $1 a piece!
ReplyDeleteI went to Target yesterdy, East Coast, I found so much on clearance! The bagel bites I got for .11, I got a glade 4oz candle for .53, I got a big vaseline lotion for $1. The pillow was marked down to $2 at my store. There was a not too bad deal on Charmin there too. There were packs with bonus rolls with peelies for $1. I was able to get free veet there too! Best run with Target yet.... and im still new to this :)
