Hi All--One of my Fav Schnucks cashiers told me there are -$2 peelies on some of the Vaseline lotions--be sure to look for those =)
ReplyDeleteOkay, tell me if I am wrong but I really have a pet peeve for people who go take all of the peelies off of products if they aren't going to buy them right then. If it is not attached to the product then take some and leave some. But don't take them off of the products they are supposed to be for. I am may get fussed at for saying that but I am a massive coupon shopper but I like to be honest and I don't feel like taking them off products you are not going to purchase is honest.
ReplyDeleteHi All & Lynda--I totally agree--maybe my last statement was misleading--I saw her shopping at Walgreens when she told me the peelies were on some of the Vaseline lotions, she asked if I was purchasing the lotion and I said no I do not need lotion now even if it is a money maker, I have gotten plenty this year to do the gift baskets at Christmas for my clients=) There are plenty of other ways to get peelies--if you see a sales rep in the stores ask them--they are always very friendly and do usually pass them on if they have extras. HTH
ReplyDeleteReposting this one. Am just desperate for an answer. :) -----
ReplyDeleteI got a raincheck last week for the Gain dish soap. Has anyone checked if Wags stores have them in stock this week already? Would want to use the coupons before they expire. TIA.
Not sure if Wags is restocked on Gain. However, Wal-Mart is always stocked at their everyday low price of .97c. Still making it FREE. Just a note, when Wags was out of their .89c Gain, I just took their ad to Wal-Mart and ad matched. Wal-Mart is usually pretty good about that.
ReplyDeleteWalmart is way too far from me but thanks for the info, Anon.
ReplyDeleteCalled Wags, NO stock on Gain. :(
Ms. Jeri, CJ, couponmama or anyone, IS the $1.19 on Gain at Schnucks its regular price? Thanks a lot in advance.
Janet that is a great idea to ask the rep. I see them frequently at Wags.
ReplyDeletecoupon.girl-
ReplyDeleteIf your Walgreens is still out of the Gain, you could try asking a manager if you could still use your coupons when it comes in. The stores get reimbursed for about 6 months after the coupons expires, so they won't be losing out. It is their fault they are out of the product, so they should be willing to work with you. I have done this before at Walgreens and CVS. It doesn't hurt to ask.
coupon.girl - The Gain sign I saw at Schnucks yesterday just said "New" with the price of $1.19 so it isnt just a sale price at this time, but may be at its lowest price right now because it's a new product. There was no Gain at my Walgreens yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHi coupon.girl - Gain is regularly price $1.19 at Schnucks.
ReplyDeleteout of prints :(
ReplyDeleteI just got one to print
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteHi, JB! I did what you said before at CVS because my store IS really coupon friendly. I did it with the AirWick B1G1 Qs which I used this week already. I was worried that they won't get reimbursed but manager told me that it's okay. Am glad to know that they will be. And My Wags store-- NOT coupon friendly so I haven't tried and I might never be. :( Thanks for your advice though. You're lucky to have a coupon friendly Wags. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I went to Schnucks Hampton yesterday. Gain's shelf tag price is $1.19. Thanks everyone for the info. I bought (4).
They also have the small bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce Original Flavor for 99cents (regular price on shelf). I only have one coupon so I got one. Regular check-outs were busy so I went to self check-out. $1 Q went through without beeping. So a cent overage. A penny saved is a penny earned which I also edited to a "A penny found is a penny saved which is a penny earned"-- I've been picking up loose change left on the ground other than couponing. My small jar is getting full. hehe...
Anyway, I paid 81cents for (4)dish soap and (1) hot sauce. I would have preferred no OOP :) but I can't complain. We'll be using the dish soap for sure.
Hi coupon.girl--WTG on the shopping trip =)
ReplyDeleteHi coupon.girl - Thanks for the Franks info!
ReplyDeleteSometimes paying a little is better than dealing with coupon unfriednly situations.
