  4. I found a couple of deals today at Schnucks. Cheer was on sale for $5.99, there was a $2.00 off coupon a few weeks back. Also, a 60 count of Finish gelpacks, or powerballs was $9.99. I didn't have a coupon, but thought that was a good price.

  5. Uncle Bens Whole Grain White Rice (various flavors) are $2.19. There were $1 peelies on the boxes and also $1 blinkies at my store and I had 2 B1G1 printables, so got 4 boxes for $2.38. Used my $8 in catalinas from last week and got a whole bag of groceries for $3 :)
I cant seem to find Swiss Miss pudding cups at Schnucks or SNS. If anyone knows a store in St Louis that carries them, please post.

  6. Heard on the news this morning that the West County store is recalling Grapes. They said DON'T EAT THEM!

  7. Okay - so I just looked it up and it is actually the Dardenne Prairie Store. Here is the article:
    http://www.fox2now.com/news/ktvi-schnucks-grape-recall-dardenne-prairie-092110,0,314090.story

Apparently a lightbulb above the grapes broke and there was glass in some of the bags.

  11. I was wondering if you know what the official coupon policy for schnucks is? They would not let me use the $5 off when 5 Kraft cheese products are bought.

  12. Hi Anonymous - Schnucks does not have a published coupon policy. When I emailed them inquiring about coupons they send me this:

" Our Metro St. Louis stores in both Missouri and Illinois offer double coupons everyday on coupons valued at $.40 or less. There is a limit of 15 coupons doubled per order.

Each item may only have one coupon applied to it and coupons that exceed the cost of the item are redeemed equal to the cost of the item. There
is a limit of two Buy One Get One Free items with the purchase of two and we reserve the right to limit quantities.

Also included is our policy on internet/home-printed coupons listed
    below:

As with all manufacturer's coupons, only one coupon per item can be applied.

Internet/home-printed coupons for FREE products will not be accepted.

Internet/home-printed coupons with a value greater than $5.00 will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to decline acceptance of any coupon that does not appear to be an original and/or any coupon that does not scan properly."

I don't see any reason the Kraft $5 off 5 coupon would be denied. The coupon does beep so the cashier can varify 5 participaitng products were purchased.

If I were you I would email Schnucks Customer Relations about the situation and even give send them a link to the coupon.(http://www.schnucks.com/consumersline.asp)

Good luck, keep us posted what happens.

  13. I did email them, they verified what the policy was for Internet printed coupons:

Internet/home-printed coupons for FREE products will not be accepted.

Internet/home-printed coupons with a value greater than $5.00 will not be accepted.

Our store team may also decline a coupon if it
does not scan or appears to be a copy.

They then asked that I send them the coupon in questions and they would send me a gift card for the value of the coupon.

At least I know what the policy is so that I can then ask for a manager if the cashier refuse's a coupon again.

    Thanks for a great site!
