I found a tear-pad by the Murray's Sugar Free cookies that was $1.00 off any milk when you buy 2 packages of their cookies. It'll be an even better deal when these cookies go on sale at SNS - and you can use it on the single-serve Dean's milk and get that almost free! :) 'Course, anyone on a sugar-free diet won't be drinking a lot of milk but you can always give it to the kiddos. ;)

ReplyDeleteI'm new to the web-only coupons - it says one coupon per customer. Are they strict about that or has anyone tried more than one per purchase?
ReplyDeleteSo the cashier at Dierbergs told me that I can't use more than one manu coupon per item. So I couldn't use the $1/5 totino's AND the $.50/2 coupon. WHAT??? I politely told her that I've never had trouble with that before and she said, "Well that cashier didn't know what they were doing". Is it possible YOU don't know what you're doing? Then she wouldn't let me do it on my steamers either. I should have told her to just keep the food. Arrrrgh!

Laurie - I am new to couponing, too, so it can get really frustrating to figure out all the rules. As I understand it, you can use one manufacturer coupon and a store's coupon (if there is one) for a product. On this blog, Jeri helpfully lists multiple sources for coupons but it's still just one coupon. For example, you could use the $1/5 totino's AND the $.50/2 totino's IF you had bought 7 totino's total. (At least that's what I think.)

ReplyDeleteLaurie - I only use one web only coupon per transaction. If you would want to use more, ask at the customer service desk or the manager if they will allow it. The customer service deak employees/manager are good to get to know at your store.
I agree with Debra. You should have been able to use both $1/5 and .50/2 if you were buying 7 items. If your cashier wouldn't allow this, you should politely ask for her to call someone over from the customer service desk or a manager to clairfy the coupon usage rules.
Is this at every store or just Dierbergs? I just know I've used more than one at Target before...or am I nuts? Yeah, I used a B1G1 and a $$ off...ohhhhh...so the B1G1 was for item #1 and the $$ off was for item #2?

It's not just Dierbergs, but all store where you can use one manf. and store coupon per item.
Sorry it is so hard to explain, but every coupon and situation is a little differernt. The best way to learn is to keep asking questions, especially with specifics of what you want to buy and what coupons you want to use.
