  • Enter your pomo code and info  HERE
  • Your $10 gift card will be mailed to you.
We did this deal several times last year.  My husband throws his coins in a jar every night; it's surprising how fast they accumulate - even when I take a small handful out to go shopping at Walgreens or CVS.  Most or all the offers are a one per name and mailing address, so we had the additional bonus cards sent to relatives.

Find a Coinstar machine  near you.

Thanks, Jennifer!

  1. Hi Jeri,
Do they charge you to count the change?

  2. Lisa, I think they charge if you want cash back. If you get one of the certificates, there's no fee.

  4. Hi Lisa - rawfoodgal is correct. If you want cash you get charged. If you select a gift certificate you get the full dollar amount in the certificate.

I think this is the way it works year round, but around this time of year they have the extra promotions. So save your change for the holiday season.

Thanks, Anonymous! - I'll add a note to the post aobut Amazon.

  5. Thanks, Anonymous! I was really disappointed that Amazon wasn't on the list. Guess I'll be doing this deal again after all, just after the 9th!

  6. Last year when they did this deal - we found out that different machines have different cards available. Check a few coinstar locations and you might find other deals.

  7. I am a little confused how this works. We are getting my mom a Kindle for Christmas and am wondering if I could use multiple of these deals to save more on the price. There are no sales out there for this and it is $189. Anyone have any ideas? I guess we could just do $160 in change in 4 transactions and if nothing else, give her the freebies for gifts?
I don't understand the expiration date

  8. Thanks Andrea - I think you can check online to see which cards are avaialble at which machines.

Hi Tonya - All year round you can get an retialers eCertificate from a Coinstar machine without loosing some of your money as a processing fee.

The Bonus Card promotion is only in effect until 12/31 and make sure you read the find print on the Bonus offers. Most of them are for one Bonus gift card per name or address. They take at least a few weeks - maybe longer to show up in the mail.

  11. Hi ArmyMomx2 - Just make sure you read the fine print on the bonus gift card. Most if not all of them are one per address.

  12. well with amazon/itunes, most of our grown kids have their own accounts and addresses (except the two "homeless" soldiers). each has a long wish list so they will be spent fast.

but the best part is my bank balance will be unphased!
