Shop 'n Saves Wants to Know How Much You've Saved at Their Store

Check out Shop 'n Saves Facebook page

They posted about the TLC program Extreme Couponing and what to know what's the most you have saved on your Shop 'n Save grocery bill?

I hope everyone heads over  and leaves a comment.  Shop 'n Save's question to their fans means they are listening to shoppers.

  2. Thanks! I got my 2 cents in about printables and multiple item catalinas, but also told them I like their reasonable prices and Entertainment Book coupons. I wish all stores would ask us for our opinions!

  3. I just finished watching the show and wow is all I can say. I did love the lady who walks up to two miles a day to get coupons from people. I think she has the true idea abot what couponing is all about. She is defintaly educating others along the way. I wish we had some of the grocery cards they were using in the stores. Not even sure what they are or how they work but do wish they woud come to St. Louis. Hopefully Shop n Save is listening.

  4. I used to live in Rolla, MO and loved shopping at Kroger! They doubled coupons PLUS they had those cards that you could load coupons onto. It was awesome!

  6. For over two years I've partipated in Schnucks Listen surveys. Has Schnucks management made real changes? Not really, except something these surveys include a comment box and I'll state what on mind. I don't care what dog and pony show is ran at the store, just give me lower prices, better double MQ and more knowledgable employees.

  7. After sleeping on the couponing show I had to make another comment on it. The show itself didn't concentrate on the purpose of couponing which is to save money and buy the items you use on a daily basis. People just looked at the final oop but that was a little deceiving. They didn't include the amont of coupons some of those people purchased. One of them had bought $70 worth of coupons. Another buys 10 papers every week.

  8. Hi All - I was hoping SNS was listening, but since they have made not made any additional comments on the subject, I'm begining to think they jsut posted the question and moved on. I hope I'm wrong.

Lynda - I agre with you on the woman from Philly. She looked like the only sane person on the show. I understand they were putting some huge trips in just for the show, but a couple of those stockpiles were rediculous.

My husband said he was glad he didn't live next to the people with their stockpiles in their garages. In our neighborhood the squirels would eat through the garage doors to get to those stockpiles. And then everyone would be inundated with squirels.

LeAnn - Yep, you can get better deals anywhere else in the country.

Kas - I participate in the Schnucks surveys also. All they are are a sales pitch.

  9. I agree with Lynda. Also look how much time is put in to couponing... 70 hours a week? Plus they take off work to go shopping. Looked like it was taking a toll on there marriage. Not really worth it if you look at the whole picture.

  10. Hi Anonymous - I keep thinking about the TLC show too. I'm afraid it's going to turn people off to even think about couponing.

But, couponig is just like every thing else in life. If you eat too much, drink too much ...... It isn't good for you.

  11. Jeri - SNS posted this on Facebook yesterday, so maybe they are listening. Many people commented on their coupon policy.
"Thank you all for your comments. We appreciate them more than you know . . . especially you honesty. We haven't simply moved on. Your comments have sparked much discussion here at Shop 'n Save. We'll keep you posted of any changes."

  13. Gee, thanks SnS for offering me a Boxtops for Education as the highlight promo. Last week ad was crappy, this week is a joke. Nationwide the price of milk has been steadily climbing and the B4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal in-ad coupon only saves $2.50 on a gal. of milk

  14. Hi kas - I sure don't see much in SNS ad that entices me to shop their this week either. But, I rarely shop at SNS unless they have a $10 off $50 Thrusday.
